All the techniques are shared, and each person (in groups of four or more) has the chance to craft a wooden shoe from a block of wood. All the techniques are shared, and each person (in groups of four or more) has the chance to craft a wooden shoe from a block of wood. The workshop is physically demanding, so it also includes painting a blank beer opener. Alternatively, participants can choose to complete their own wooden shoe.
At the conclusion of the workshop, there is a tour of the cheese farm, featuring tastings of various cheeses, Dutch biscuits, and fruit wine. The entire experience lasts about 2 hours, with approximately 1.5 hours dedicated to making and engraving clogs.
