Fun on a rainy day in lihue - Susan gave us a great tour of local food in downtown Lihue with a great story of the history. You should know where on the island the tour goes depends on the day. Saturday was Lihue but other days are on other parts of the island

More than just a tasting - Great time with Susan on the North Shore tour! We had 3 lunch stops with more than ample food, plus bakery stop for dessert. All the food was tasty including a taro sandwich which was new to me. Would definitely book with Tasting Kauai again.

Food tour review - The experience was great. VIATOR not so much. Lots of wrong info on website. Bad info sent via text. Pickup spot was wrong. Not a walking tour. Not in Kapaa, but in Lihue

So much food - Susan was awesome. We went to four restaurants within short walking distance. An appetizer followed by two main courses and then a dessert.

Not enough stops. - Very friendly and knowledgeable but very short. Only 3 stops. I was hoping for a little more. The last visit could have had less food and an additional stop.

Wonderful guide/Overall good tour. - Susan was wonderful. She provided interesting historical highlights. The food selections could have been better. Kenji burgers was the highlight of the tour! Of note, you need a car to get from site to site, something that was not clear from the description.

I expected more - Our guide was great. She helped manage my partner's gluten and dairy free needs. The tour fell short of my expectations as I pictured it being a tour to different parts of the area, restaurants, etc. Basically we met at one place, walked across the parking lot to a nice grocery store with a restaurant inside, and crossed the street to the 3rd place. The history of the area and about taro specifically, was interesting, but for the money and description, I expected more.

Crappy tour company - We made reservations in Kapa’a and they told us to meet up at a coffee house. We waited there for over 45” and they never showed; husband called and texted them over 5 times with no answer- call your damn customers back!! What a sham of a company with no service. They never called us back and no show! Bye bye to our $500, there was a “no refund” policy on the vouchers we signed, so no refund there. Do NOT book with these clowns!!!

Poor customer service, do NOT use - Zero stars to this company, Tasting Kauai. We prepaid and reserved the tasting for a party of four for this tasting. We were told to meet up in Ka’paa at 12:45. 45 minutes later we’re still waiting at the coffee House to meet up; no-show from Tasting Kauai company and not even a phone call. My husband phoned and left messages at least 4 to 5 times after an hour and a half with no callback we left. This is just a scam and lousy customer service that never returned any of our calls. This tasting is a prepaid and on the voucher/contract is nonrefundable. I doubt that we’ll ever see our $500 again do not use this farce of a company. Tasting Kauai is just a bad company with poor customer service that just rips off customers. Do NOT use them!!!
