This adventure will have you snorkeling Kauai’s pristine south shore reefs and have you learning about our tropical fish, sea urchins and sea mammals. We are often greeted by a turtle nesting on the beach or a Hawaiian monk seal basking in the sun. What a wonderful experience from a distance, it is the law to keep within 50 feet of our endangered species. Learn more about our Hawaii ecosystem and identify an array of tropical fish. - Not for travelers exceeding 300lbs. Due to safety and physical constraints, we must follow a strict weight LIMIT of 300lbs or less.
- Not for travelers who cannot easily walk into and out of the ocean water
- Participants should be COMFORTABLE in the water. You don’t need to swim like an olympic gold medalist, but we will NOT be teaching you to swim either.

Must Do! - Such a fun experience! Great weather, clear water - our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging. Definitely a must do if you’re here! We saw so many different fish, and we did get to see a sea turtle too (which is what I really wanted).

Do it! - These guys are great! I’m so glad that we had their guidance getting in and out of the sort of choppy Pacific (south side of the island is rougher than North in the summer). We saw all sorts of beautiful fish and a sea turtle even surfed around us for a couple of minutes! Both of them were great and gave my eight year-old extra attention and support. Definitely recommend.

Easy-good for beginners - Very nice experience. Staff was kind and helpful. Lots of beautiful fish. Saw turtles. Was in a bay, felt safe. Give you vests to help keep you afloat. We are middle aged sisters and didn’t have any problems swimming/keeping up. No experience needed. Great for beginners.

Kauai's Ultimate Guided Shore Snorkel: South Poipu Review 7/21/25 - David was our guide. He was was top notch! He gave us very detailed safety instruction and a variety of fish we may encounter during our first time shore snorkel in Poipu. When we were in the water, David made sure we all stay together. He gave us more information/education on the sea creatures he found on the seabed. David was funny too. Lastly, when we informed the company that we may have left our Apple watch in David's van #3, the supervisor sent 3 of their people tried to locate it. However, we found it between the passenger seat and the middle console of our rental car. They are very responsible people. The main highlight of the trip was that we spotted at least 8 -10 beautiful sea turtles during this ultimate shore snorkel trip with David. Two of them swam up to the shoreline for a sun tan :) We highly recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for snorkeling adventure. David, thank you for a being a good company to us.

Best snorkeling experience so far - Una was so patient amd amazing, we uad a great time . We saw it all , fish ,multiple school of fish’s . Turtle after turtles, we will return for sure !!!

Rough Water Snorkeling with professional guide - Shore snorkeling on Kauai is very different than Florida or Caribbean Island snorkeling. The waters are a little rough. If you are very confident then this is for you. You will definitely see fish and large turtles. Anna, our guide, was very helpful and informative.

Great for beginners…. Our guide was great! - Our guide Shane was amazing. Not thrilled about the transportation vehicle but you have an option to follow behind in your own car. The area we spent time at had murky water which was really disappointing for the visual experience. But we did get to see turtles!!!
