- Weight restrictions of 275lbs per person with a total not to exceed weight of 620lbs
- Weights are taken at check-in with all items. If weight restrictions are exceeded, we will cancel the tour and no refund will be given
- Minimum age to participate is 7 yrs old. Ages 7-11 years must sit next to a closed door. Ages 12 yrs and older may sit next to an open door
- Check-in 40 minutes prior to tour time. Late check-ins will be considered a no show and subject to full price
- Check-in is at 3501 Rice Street. You will then drive 5 minutes to Lihue Airport Helipad for your flight
- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or a full refund

Awesome Doors-Off helicopter - My wife and I nervous about "doors off", but did it getting incredible pictures and videos. Yound woman in office friendly and helpful. Our pilot, Grey was a pro and informative.

Absolute must!! - I knew as soon as we booked our honeymoon to Kauai, Hawaii and was looking up trip recommendations that we HAD to do the doors off helicopter tour of the Na Pali coast. It 100% lived up to the hype! Nate, our pilot was so friendly, cool, chill, and knowledgeable. I came home with so many cool videos, and photos of our helicopter tour. If anyone is questioning going – don’t! It is an absolute must if you are going here for a trip.

Do it - Well worth the money for a private tour. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We got to see things like the crater that others cannot unless they do a helicopter tour. If you are on the bubble spend money on this and skip the drinks or eating out. Use your money to buy an experience.

Worth every doll. - Just indescribably beautiful nature from above. So much that you don't see or perceive from the ground. Really worth every dolly.

Amazing Way to See One of the Islands - Grey was our pilot and was amazing! He gave us enough information on what we were seeing while allowing us to enjoy the scenery. The flight allowed us to see the whole island! Doors off is the way to go! The experience was once in a lifetime and the highlight of our trip to Hawaii.

Breathtaking Views and Exceptional Service with Mauna Loa Helicopters - Fantastic experience from start to finish. The Mauna Loa team runs a professional, safety-focused operation with a friendly, family-owned feel. Our pilot was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the island, pointing out hidden waterfalls and landmarks you’d never see otherwise. The flight was smooth, the views were incredible, and the whole experience felt personal and well-organized. Highly recommend Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours for anyone visiting Kaua’i.

Incredible flight! Fantastic provider! - This was a fantastic experience and the Mauna Loa employees were so easy to work with. So friendly, so professional, great customer service and our pilot Tony made sure we were comfortable and had a great experience. We decided to leave our doors ON, but they gave us the choice. This trip was about making memories and this helicopter ride was SO memorable!

A thrilling experience - We’ve been on a few helicopters before but never with the doors off and what a thrilling experience it is! The scenery is breathtaking, flying over huge canyons, waterfalls, beaches and alongside the towering cliffs of the Na Pali coast was an experience I won’t forget. Our pilot Dylan was great, good commentary and we felt super safe with him. It does get very windy up there, so if you have long hair tie it up and wear a light jacket or long sleeve shirt.
