Since 1983, surfing lessons have been offered at Kauai’s premier learning location, Kalapaki Beach. Participants can learn to paddle, balance on their boards, and grasp the fundamentals of surfing. The program features small class sizes, experienced surf instructors, and top-quality equipment, including a board, leash, and rash guard. Thanks to the gentle trade winds and the sheltered environment of Kalapaki Bay, the surf conditions are consistently favorable. Kalapaki is ideal for beginner to intermediate surfers, with a reef break suitable for learning. All participants must be proficient swimmers, and the minimum age requirement is 10 years.
