• 4637 Amio Rd - After checking in at the shop and loading all equipment, guests will be transported to Koloa Landing, the designated training area and dive site. Participants will receive a comprehensive briefing on the essentials of SCUBA diving, covering basic theory, safety measures, equipment usage, and underwater communication. They will then have the opportunity to practice key skills and become comfortable in the water with the SCUBA gear. It’s time to dive! The maximum depth is 40 ft, and each dive lasts approximately 30-45 minutes. If the 2 tank (2 dives) option is selected, participants will explore two uniquely different sections of the reef, depending on conditions.

The skills acquired will also aid in preparing for the Open Water Diver course, should participants decide to pursue certification later.

Upon completion, the instructor will transport participants back to the Dive Shop to finalize their successful course completion.

Important: Participants must remain below an altitude of 1,000ft for 18 hours following their last dive. This restriction includes interisland and commercial flights, helicopter tours, skydiving, and visits to Waimea Canyon.

During this diving excursion, participants will have the opportunity to discover an underwater realm teeming with marine life, home to over 1,250 species unique to the Hawaiian Islands. You may encounter sea turtles, schools of fish, stunning reef ecosystems, dolphins, rays, and much more. Our guided tour for novice divers will thrill even the most seasoned adventurer. Our shore dive location, Koloa Landing, is renowned for its abundance of green sea turtles, and spotting them is almost certain. We always assess dive conditions and will tailor our dive plan to ensure this experience is as enjoyable and safe as possible for you and your entire family.

• Participants must complete the PADI Diver Medical Questionnaire (available through us or online), and if required have their physician’s sign-off indicating it’s safe to participate
• Participants must not travel to more than 1000ft of elevation for 18 hours after this activity (including interisland and commercial flights, helicopter tours, skydiving, and trips to Waimea Canyon)
• Please read and complete the forms in your confirmation email immediately, as there will be no refund given within 24 hours of your experience if you fail to complete these successfully, which may require a physician’s approval.
