- 4637 Amio Rd - After checking in at the shop and having all equipment fitted and loaded, guests will be transported approximately 2 miles to the Kukuiula Small Boat Harbor. There, participants will receive a comprehensive briefing on the essentials of SCUBA diving, covering basic theory, safety, equipment usage, and underwater communication. Following the briefing, they will have the opportunity to practice skills and become comfortable in the water with their SCUBA gear. Subsequently, there is a short walk to the boat where a coast guard certified captain will provide a boat safety briefing. The maximum depth for each dive is 40 ft, and there will be two dives lasting approximately 30-45 minutes each at some of the most renowned South Shore dive sites in Kauai.
The entire experience lasts about half a day, and the skills acquired will help prepare participants for the Open Water Diver course if they decide to pursue certification. Snacks and drinks are available on our dive boat, which is the largest and most spacious dive boat on the Island. Upon completion, the instructor will drive participants back to the Dive Shop to finalize their successful course completion.

No prior SCUBA experience is necessary to join this adventure! Participants will have the chance to discover an underwater realm teeming with marine life, featuring over 1,250 species unique to the Hawaiian Islands. With lava arches, schools of fish, stunning reef ecosystems, dolphins, manta rays, and more, our guided tour for uncertified divers promises to thrill even the most seasoned explorer. Our dive vessel, the Anela Kai, is the largest and most spacious SCUBA boat on Kauai, offering each diver the opportunity to explore two different sites. The boat’s size is ideal for Pacific Ocean diving, providing ample space to move around, an upper-level observation deck, and a smooth journey along the ocean coast. We always assess dive conditions and tailor our dive plan to ensure this experience is as enjoyable and safe as possible for you and your entire family.
