Uganda Equator - Upon arrival, travelers will be warmly welcomed by our representative and driver, who will provide a brief overview of the 3-day Gorilla safari. After checking in to refresh and enjoy lunch, the journey to Kabale will commence. There will be a stop at the Equator crossing monument for photo opportunities and craft shopping, allowing for a brief stretch before embarking on a 5-hour drive through five districts. This drive offers views of diverse communities and cultures, along with a taste of local street foods such as Rolex, roasted meat, and roasted bananas. Upon arrival in Kabale in the evening, guests will check in at Heras Country Hotel.
Full Day Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Following an early morning breakfast, travelers will be transported to Bwindi National Park with their gorilla permit (included in the pricing) for a full day of Gorilla tracking, bird watching, and nature walks. The day will conclude with a tour of Kabale town and a visit to the Uganda and Rwanda border “Katuna,” before returning to Kabale for an evening of relaxation.
Visit to Lake Bunyonyi & Return to Kampala
Lake Bunyonyi - After an early morning breakfast, travelers will visit Lake Bunyonyi, enjoying a launch cruise through the lake’s islands and having lunch by the lake. The journey back to Kampala will then begin, with arrival in the evening for an airport transfer to Entebbe.
