Two Amazing Tours in Kazakhstan - Kolsai Tours Cannot say enough good things about Kolsai Tours. We had organized a 2-day tour of Charyn Canyon and the Lakes as well as an Almaty City Tour. Andrey was a pleasure to arrange the tours with. Andrey was our guide for the 2-Day Canyon and Lakes Tour and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The tour was well-timed and we had plenty of time to explore at each destination. Andrey knew of many off-the-beaten path locations for incredible photos. The delicious picnic lunch beside the river was one of the highlights of the trip. Andrey was also a pleasure to be around. He went out of his way to make us feel especially welcomed. Julia was our guide for our Almaty city tour and once again we had a fantastic day. Her knowledge of the city was tremendous and we greatly enjoyed going to the top of the mountain; you had a great view of the city below and it felt like we were at a European ski resort. She was equally a pleasure to be around and her personalization of the tour to our tastes made for the perfect ending to our trip to Kazakhstan. We cannot wait to use Kolsai Tours for our next adventure in Central Asia.

Khazakhstan and the true nature - I had an unforgettable 2-day trip with Baha as my guide. From start to finish he was professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about showing the beauty of Kazakhstan. He was very flexible and tailored the experience to what suited me best, offering great advice on how to make the most out of every stop. Baha shared so much knowledge about the culture, history, and nature of the region, which made the journey much more meaningful. He always paid attention to the small details, from pointing out the best photo opportunities to preparing traditional tea and meals, which added so much to the experience. I really appreciated his kindness, humor, and the way he made the trip feel both safe and adventurous. Thanks to him, I didn’t just see the landscapes — I truly experienced them. I highly recommend Baha to anyone wanting to explore Kazakhstan in the best possible way.

- A wonderful trip packed with beautiful and touchy moments. Visitors are really taken care of. Highly recommended to everyone! ** Carefully thought out everything to the smallest detail: both a busy itinerary and cozy snacks (one tea by the water is worth something!), and overnight accommodation. Not only interesting and beautiful, but also calm, cozy, warm on the way! Remember thankfully and smile) Thank you!

Must See in Kazakhstan - We had an amazing tour with our guide Vladimir. He was very good at seeing we like hiking and suggesting extra activities and hikes. We did a personalized private tour starting at Moon Canyon and camping in Termirlik Canyon. Then we went the next day to Kolsay Lake and hiked to the second Kolsay Lake, which was AMAZING but difficult (about 10 miles roundtrip?). The day after we went to the main part of Charyn Canyon---- beautiful nature and hiking. Highly recommend and also recommend Vladimir.

Amazing tour - We had an amazing 2-day tour and would highly recommend it! Our guide Julia was incredibly knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts with us. She was well-prepared for everything and also gave us excellent recommendations for our time in Almaty. The food was delicious and the guesthouse very cozy. Overall, we truly enjoyed the experience – having a guide is absolutely essential for getting the most out of this tour.

Best Guide - It was a trip with a 3-year-old. The guide was very friendly and explained well, and we followed the schedule we wanted. The experience of driving off road and running on water was really new. The stay in the guesthouse was also comfortable and cozy. Thanks to the guide Max was a comfortable and enjoyable trip!

Worth. It. - Exceptional service, even at a very short notice! Great pace, caters to the individual needs, and it felt more like a friend showing you around their hometown than a set tour package. Had the pleasure of Dima’s company who was very accommodating and shared tons of insights into life in Almaty - set to the tune of an excellent long drive playlist. He expertly timed our visits to places of interest that allowed greater appreciation of amazing scenery without the crowds - these are the priceless moments. More importantly, as a female solo traveler, I felt safe the whole time. Shoutout to Andrey as well, who was very responsive and clear with details. I will definitely book with them again, next time with friends!

Two Day Jeep Journey to Kolsai Lakes - Just got back from a two-day Jeep Journey to Kolsai Lakes tour. The tour was long chosen, I wanted to watch the most beautiful and interesting, but at a fairly relaxed pace. We were accompanied by Mikhail, a wonderful driver (we drive ourselves, so we understand some nuances) and a wonderful guide. Very pleasant interlocutor, knows many interesting facts, is perfectly oriented to the terrain, caring, tactful, delicious cook. We are very grateful for a wonderful weekend! And a couple of words about the tour itself: the car is a comfortable SUV (Toyota Sequoia), in the car bottles of water, the air conditioning works, the route is carefully timed (stops, meals), there is a sense of walking, not a tourist tour, i.e. everything is calm, traffic at a walking pace, you can admire nature, in all facilities enough free time, do not run anywhere. Overnight in a mountain village, very authentic, the houses are simple, but modern, cozy, everything clean, neat. The food is simple but hearty and delicious. I really liked the idea of a nature picnic. Places are secluded, there was no one near us at all, just us, nature and wonderful lunch) The places are fantastically beautiful: mountains, hills, canyons, lakes. And about the company itself: from the organization to the incarnation there have been no complaints (I quite often in trips deal with the organization of tours, situations can vary): answers are quick, everything is explained clearly, contacts were provided on time, nothing was forgotten, not confused, not a single overlap on the route. One of the best private tours we have done - Amazing private tour to the Charyn Canyon and Kaindy and Kolsai lakes! Booked via Andrey and Kirill was our guide. Kirill took great care of us. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the areas you are visiting and the country in general. He showed us amazing places and knew when/ where to go to beat the crowds. He is also a great host and cook, and made us feel safe and welcome. One of the best private tours we have done and considering everything you get, it is fairly priced.
