I loved this tour. The... - I loved this tour. The stops were well planned out and the meals were excellent. The guest house was clean and quiet. I am glad I chose the two day tour as it allowed enough time at each site and didn't feel rushed. The driver was safe and efficient. Our guide was Azamat and he was fantastic! He spoke great English and was knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. I would recommend this tour 100%.

Let yourself be guided by Aika, an exceptional guide! - I recommend 100% this tour organized over 2 days by Aika our guide. Having tested other agencies, I clearly felt the difference in the quality of the services: - the accommodation and dining places have been carefully selected: the meals are traditional and entirely homemade and our hosts have been lovely. -our guide made sure we had all the necessary information at each location - she animated our downtime to have a very good Mood during these 2 days the value for money is therefore unbeatable Thanks again Aika!

Best experience I’ve ever had on a tour. 100% satisfied! Every detail so meticulous. Thank you - 100% best tour ever. Our guide Aika was THE BEST guide. The transport, the accommodation, the food, the organisation. Everything was perfect. We had a group of 17 which was one of her bigger ones but such a great group and felt more like travelling with friends. We were never rushed, felt comfortable all the time. I cannot truely believe how great this trip was. If I come back to Kazakstan I will do another tour with Aika for sure.

Best experience in Almaty - We had two remarkable days discovering around Almaty natural wonders. The trip was well organised and we never felt in a rush, the timing was just perfect. The guide is very friendly. Lastly, the food is exceptional. Highly recommended!

Great 2 days with an amazing guide - The tour was great fun. Our guide was amazing and spoke perfect English. We had time at the Canyon to walk to the river and view point. Also had a couple of hours to enjoy Kolsay lake. Nice dinners and lunches. We stayed in a nice an cosy house for the night. Kaindy lake the next morning and some time at yellow and black canyon. The guide gave us lots of information and we had nice chats with her. Absolutely loved my 2 days.

A Great 2-day Trip to Charyn, Kaindy, and Kolsay with Aika and Farzia - My husband, our two daughters, and I, were looking for a 2-day small group tour covering Charyn Canyon and the Kaindy and Kolsay Lakes, and after some research, we chose to go with KazViaTours, run by the wonderful Aika and Farzia. It turned out to be a fantastic decision. The tour was incredibly well-organised. The drive was smooth and comfortable in a clean, air-conditioned vehicle, and our driver Adil—who also DJs in Almaty—kept the energy high with a fun mix of Kazakh and international hits. By the time we reached Kurmeti village for our overnight stay, our group—made up of fellow travellers from Romania, the Philippines, and India—already felt like family. The food was hearty and delicious, with good vegetarian options too. What impressed us the most, though, was Aika and Farzia’s knowledge, intelligence, and passion for their work. They were deeply knowledgeable about Kazakhstan’s history, culture, and geography—and impressively well-informed about other countries and cultures as well. Our sparkling post-dinner conversations with them were some of the highlights of the trip. We had a great time, and hope to visit Kazakhstan again. Thank you, Rakhmet.

Unforgettable Nature and Hospitality in Kazakhstan - I was very happy with the tour to Charyn Canyon and the Kolsai and Kaindy lakes. These are incredibly beautiful places — especially if you’re lucky with sunny weather at Lake Kaindy, the views are simply magical! Special thanks to our guide Aika and our driver Akylbek. Aika was very attentive and shared many interesting facts about life and culture in Kazakhstan, which made the trip even more engaging. Akylbek was an excellent driver: despite some rough mountain roads, he handled everything confidently and carefully, never taking risks and making us feel completely safe. I highly recommend taking a photo with a falcon or golden eagle in traditional Kazakh clothing — it’s a truly unique and unforgettable experience!

A must have experience in Almaty - This was truly an outstanding experience—one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Our guides, Aika and Fariza, were fantastic and made the journey truly memorable. They managed our group of seven with ease, and I especially appreciated how Aika introduced us to some off-the-beaten-path locations that other tours might miss. There was ample time allocated at each stop, allowing us to fully appreciate every site. The mountain village stay was breathtaking and added a special touch to the adventure. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Almaty—it’s a must-do!

Great Trip when in Almaty - The trip is really good! Going to canyon and lakes are a big highlight of our trip to Almaty and taking a 2 day trip let’s you enjoy it fully, I don’t know how it could all be squeeze into one day. Aika was a fantastic guide, very knowledgable and personable which really made the trip smooth and enjoyable. We requested if we could stay in a yurt over night rather than the standard accommodation which they organised for us with no issue. The food was nice, traditional and home cooked and they were able to cater for me to be vegetarian without issue (this can be difficult in Kazakhstan) We had a really great time - thank you.
