• Eagle Square - Towering at 12 meters (39.3 feet), this impressive statue is inspired by Langkawi’s iconic sea eagle. Ready to soar, the statue is the centerpiece of the waterfront Dataran Lang, a star-shaped plaza on Kuah Bay. It is one of the first landmarks to welcome visitors arriving by ferry or cruise ship.

Dataran Lang is a favorite spot for photos with the grand Brahminy kite or simply to watch boats glide in and out of the bay. Across a small footbridge from the square is the Jetty Point Complex, Langkawi’s main ferry terminal and a mid-sized mall offering duty-free shopping and fast food outlets.

• Durian Perangin Waterfall - For those adventurous enough to hike a bit higher towards the summit, a well-maintained park awaits. Staying on the trail, visitors will find several shelters to rest and enjoy the view and the calming sounds of the cascading waters. As the journey continues, the many tiers of the waterfall invite a refreshing dip. However, caution is advised as the rocks can be slippery and sharp, so tread and splash around carefully.
• Tanjung Rhu Beach - Gracefully located on Langkawi’s enchanting northeastern corner, Pantai Tanjung Rhu is named after the majestic casuarina trees that elegantly line its shore. In Malay, ‘Pantai’ means beach, ‘Tanjung’ means cape, and ‘Rhu’ refers to the magnificent Casuarina tree.

• Langkawi Sky Bridge - At 125m in length, this structure is among the world’s longest curved suspension bridges. Constructing it was a challenging task, requiring solutions for critical elements such as structural balancing from a single point (top of the pylon), optimal weight management and load distribution, pre-fabrication of the bridge, and on-site installation.

The entire bridge, in all its components, had to be lifted to the top of the mountain by helicopter and was later assembled in its current position. The price for SkyBridge is RM6.00 for adults and RM4.00 for children. Tickets can be purchased at the SkyBridge Ticketing Counter at the Top Station.
