The journey begins with a brief drive to a village pond, where Lesser Whistling-Ducks, Egrets, Herons, Moorhens, and other birds can be observed. Along the route, there is a stop at a paddy field to view Lapwings, Kingfishers, Sparrows, and Bitterns. The journey begins with a brief drive to a village pond, where Lesser Whistling-Ducks, Egrets, Herons, Moorhens, and other birds can be observed. Along the route, there is a stop at a paddy field to view Lapwings, Kingfishers, Sparrows, and Bitterns. The adventure continues to Langkawi’s highest peak, offering the opportunity to see Great Hornbills, Wreathed Hornbills, and various rainforest birds, with the Great Hornbill being the largest bird in Langkawi. The day concludes with a return to the hotel.

- Recommended Attire: Long sleeve shirts, Long pants, walking shoes, hat, and good sun protection, keep to earth colors like green brown or black and avoid bright colors like red, yellow, and white.

Must do experience in Langkawi - Absolutely loved the half day bird watching tour! We saw over 30 different types of birds including the elusive Great Hornbill. Loved the variety of habitats and our guide Masyi was great 👍

Super half day birdwatching experience - We went on a half day bird watching tour, with guide Masyi. Prior to boarding we were asked what was our target bird,
"Love to see any hornbill if possible"
Masyi delivered, we saw all three species of Hornbills, they took us to the right place up in the jungle, and great sightings, also nice for this tourist, to see the Dusky Langur, including orange youngster, still clinging to mum. After visiting the rainforest we went to a lowland area near the airport to spot water birds, that delivered as well, with heron's, brahminy kites, cuckoo, pranticole, kingfisher etc. We recorded 24 species.
The trip was low effort, with short walks from the car, which was also welcome in the heat, and very effective.

Interesting experience - We would have a nice and unexcited tour where we could observe eagles and large rhino birds, among other things. We also received a lot of exciting information about the local wildlife.

Amazing experience ! - Afie was an amazing guide on our morning birdwatching tour in Langkawi! She was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to beautiful spots where we saw stunning birds. Her passion and expertise made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Kingfishering in Langkawi - As a life-long bird liker but quite recent birding hobbyist, this tour was exactly what we were looking for. We really wanted to see some kingfishers and ended up seeing three different species of them. On top of the kingfishers, we saw tens of different birds. Afie as a guide was absolutely lovely and knowledgeable. If we ever come back to Langkawi we will definitely do some more JungleWalla tours (and hopefully with Afie as our guide).

A serene way to cap off our trip. - We had a great experience sighting birds on our final day in Langkawi with Junglewalla. Our guide Afie was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She took us to the best spots on the island for mangrove and rainforest bird watching and we spotted over 20 species in 4 hours. We saw all three species of the famous hornbills in a single location and Afie deserves special credit for bringing us there.
Junglewalla team's pick up and drop service + accessories (binoculars) were very good too.
I would recommend this to any nature lover who visits Langkawi for a relaxing time in nature. My wife and I enjoyed this experience tremendously.

Excellent afternoon birding in Langkawi - The naturalist Afie knew her stuff and we saw lots of birds in particular oriental hornbills and kingfishers as well as a field full of egrets, pond herons etc. She took us to some beautiful places and was very pleasan, knowledgeable and helpful. She had binoculars for all three of us. I would definitely recommend this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Langkawi Bird Tour - Had an amazing two day bird tour on Langkawi. Saw so many new species of birds. Afie was an amazing guide who knew where all the birds were and how to identify them. Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We even got to see both the oriental pied and great hornbills. Had some amazing views. Could not recommend a better than this if you are visiting Langkawi. Saw so many birds, and even monkeys, and a black giant squirrel, and other creatures.

If you love birds, take this tour! - Our guide Afie was great! Not only was she extremely amiable, she helped spot a number of birds for us and was able to communicate clearly where the birds were (this is important!). We were delighted to see a wonderful flock of giant hornbills with her! There is nothing like experiencing something special with a nature guide who truly loves what they do.

Highlight of our trip to Langkawi! - Today we joined the bird watching tour by JungleWalla. Our guide Afie was fantastic, an absolute wealth of knowledge with a keen eye pointing out a large variety of birds with a special highlight being a family of Giant Hornbills their distinctive calls will remain with us forever.
Among many other birds and animals we spotted the Green pigeon, orange-bellied flowerpecker, Racket Tailed Drongo and the Dusky Leaf Monkey.
We would highly recommend this tour.
