- Kelleys Island State Park - We will explore some remnants of the limestone quarrying era from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Enjoy the stunning beach and the views from the north bay area of Kelleys Island. Then, we will explore the Alvar habitat on the North shore, discovering glacial erratics and fossils.
- Kelleys Island - As we travel from the Glacial Grooves and through the State Park, we will also tour parts of the island. The tour guide will share some of the island’s and houses’ history during the journey, including the trip to and from the history museum.
- Kelleys Island State Park - Old abandoned quarries have been acquired by the state and transformed into beautifully preserved parkland. The East Quarry features a small lake that is easily accessible for viewing. Fossil hunting is a must on KI, and you are sure to find them here.
