Lunch will be served, allowing time to prepare for the next adventure—a Sunset Drive in an open safari vehicle starting at 4:30 pm for 3 hours. Moving towards Central Kruger

Kruger National Park - On day 3, after a hearty breakfast, travel north to the central region of Kruger National Park, staying for the next 2 nights at Satara, Letaba, or Olifants rest camps. The journey from southern to central Kruger offers opportunities to see wildlife. Before reaching the destination, stop for a delightful lunch at the Tshokwane picnic site, an unfenced area offering a breathtaking experience of the park’s vastness. Upon arrival in central Kruger, check in around 2:00 pm and relax. Dinner is served at 6:00 pm, setting the stage for an extraordinary Night Safari game drive with park Rangers from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Exploring Central Kruger

Kruger National Park - Immerse in the heart of Kruger’s central region, known for lion territories. Start the day with an invigorating morning Safari Game Drive in an Open Safari Vehicle, followed by a satisfying breakfast at Olifants Rest Camp. The return journey to Satara offers more wildlife spotting opportunities. Back at the camp, relax and enjoy lunch before an exciting Sunset Drive in an open safari vehicle. Travel further North

Kruger National Park - On day 5, leave central Kruger and journey further north to Shingwedzi, Mopani, or Punda Maria for the final two nights. Shingwedzi is located in the northern reaches of Kruger National Park, in the heart of Mopane country. Enjoy one of the most rewarding drives in the park along the Shingwedzi River, heading southeast towards the Kanniedood Dam. Throughout the journey, watch for wildlife as you transition from central to northern Kruger, with sightings of waterbuck, nyala, kudu, elephants, and vibrant birdlife. The day concludes with an open safari vehicle sunset game drive at 4:30 pm, followed by a delightful dinner, allowing you to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the north.

Exploring Northern Kruger

Kruger National Park - Day 6 offers an exploration of the captivating Northern Kruger region, focusing on the area between Punda Maria and Pafuri camp in a CLOSED VEHICLE. The Pafuri Border Camp, located in the northernmost part of Kruger National Park near Punda Maria, is close to the confluence of the Luvuvhu and Limpopo rivers, near the borders of Mozambique and Zimbabwe. This confluence forms a natural barrier preventing wildlife from crossing, creating an exceptional ecological zone known for its diverse birdlife, offering one of South Africa’s most remarkable avian spectacles.
