Johannesburg - BIG 5 Safari - Pilanesberg National Park

Pilanesberg National Park - Departing the hotel at 6:00 am, guests will embark on their first adventure to Pilanesberg National Park. The two-hour drive takes us to the Northwest province of South Africa, home to Pilanesberg National Park. Upon arrival, guests will switch to an open safari vehicle for an immersive wildlife and nature experience. The three-hour exploration will include stops for photos of unsuspecting wildlife and majestic elephants grazing in the expansive park. Visits to waterholes may reveal hippos and their companions.

After exploring Africa’s wildlife, guests will enjoy lunch before returning to Johannesburg with cherished memories and numerous photos of the wildlife.

Johannesburg - Pretoria, Soweto, and Apartheid Museum Day Tour

Voortrekker Monument - The tour begins with a drive to Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa, starting at the Voortrekker Museum. Here, guests will learn about the Afrikaners and the significance of historical heroes.

Church Square - The tour continues to Church Square in Pretoria, offering inspirational historical insights.

Union Buildings - Guests will drive through Pretoria, admiring the beautiful Jacaranda trees, en route to the Union Buildings, the President’s offices. The tour provides an overview of Pretoria City and opportunities for memorable photos before heading to Soweto.

Hector Pieterson Museum and Memorial - In Soweto, guests will explore the dark apartheid past that haunted South Africa before 2004. The visit to the Hector Pieterson Museum reveals its significance in 1976.

Mandela House - Next, guests visit the Mandela House Museum for inspirational history on this iconic home in the heart of Soweto.

Apartheid Museum - After lunch in Soweto, the tour proceeds to the Apartheid Museum, the final stop of the day. Guests will explore the museum’s detailed exhibits on the apartheid era before returning to the hotel in Sandton.

Day 4 – Johannesburg - Cradle of Humankind and Lesedi Cultural Village Day Tour

Sterkfontein Cave - The tour begins with an exploration of the Sterkfontein Caves to understand their significance in human origins.

Lesedi Cultural Village - Guests then visit the Lesedi Cultural Village to learn about the diverse African tribes that form the “Rainbow Nation.” An African dance performance and a traditional African lunch at the Boma Restaurant are included.

Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site - After the Lesedi Cultural Village, the tour heads to the Maropeng Museum for an in-depth study of human origins, featuring various fossils in their original form.

Day 5 – Depart Johannesburg - Arrive Cape Town – Table Mountain Tour

Table Mountain Aerial Cableway - Guests will check out of the hotel around 8:30 am and head to the airport for a two-hour flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival, they will proceed to the pre-booked 4-star hotel in Cape Town. After settling in, the first journey will be an afternoon tour of Table Mountain, offering an incredible cable car experience. Afterward, guests will return to the hotel in Cape Town City, ready for the next exciting day.

Day 6 – Cape Town - Robben Island Tour with Winelands Tour

Robben Island Museum - Departing the hotel in Cape Town around 8:00 am, guests will take a ferry to Robben Island Museum, where they will explore Nelson Mandela’s home for 27 years. A guided tour of the museum includes a visit to Mandela’s prison cell, with insights provided by a former prisoner.

After returning to Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, guests will enjoy lunch at the renowned Fish Market Restaurant before embarking on the Cape Winelands Tour.

The tour includes visits to three Winelands in Cape Town: Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl, with opportunities to taste wines and learn about the historical winemaking process. Guests will sample some of the region’s finest wines before returning to the hotel in Cape Town. On the way back, a visit to Victor Verster Prison, where Nelson Mandela spent time after his release from Robben Island, is included. Guests will then return to the hotel to prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Stellenbosch - Visit the capital of wine production in South Africa and explore the stunning vineyards.

Franschhoek - Discover the historical wine valley established by the French Huguenots in 1668, another major wine-producing area in South Africa.

Paarl - Enjoy the beautiful wine hills and visit Nelson Mandela’s former prison for photos. Visit 4 to 5 wine estates and taste up to 15 different types of wine, including red, white, and sweet varieties.

Day 7 – Cape Town - Cape Peninsula Full Day Tour

Cape Point - Departing the hotel at 9:00 am, guests will embark on a guided tour of Cape Town’s stunning coastline. The journey includes views of the 12 Apostles and Camps Bay, with an experienced guide providing insights into the “Mother City.” The tour continues along the coastline, offering breathtaking ocean views, and includes a stop at Chapman’s Drive for photos.

The tour then heads inland to the famous Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, where guests will enjoy lunch with spectacular ocean views. From Cape Point, the tour proceeds to Simon’s Town for a penguin viewing before returning along the coastline to the hotel.

Day 8 – Cape Town – Free Day

Victoria & Alfred Waterfront - This is a free day for guests to shop or visit the waterfront. Transportation to and from the hotel is provided. Lunch is not included.

Day 9 – Cape Town – Free Day
