• Kennebunkport - The tour will include a stroll past historic homes from 1789 and the early 1800s, with stories about past residents, a look at a colonial “kitchen garden,” and trees planted after the Dutch Elm disease eradicated the elms.
• Ganny’s Garden - The tour will conclude with a visit to “Ganny’s Garden,” inspired by a needlepoint carpet designed by the late First Lady, Barbara Bush, and dedicated to her as a surprise by her family and friends.

Your local guides are home gardeners sharing their passion for plants, and eager to share a wealth of information on their hometown.

We will begin and end in Dock Square and walk approximately 2 miles over 1.5 to 2 hours on flat terrain. There are benches to sit for a spell along the route and a little garden gift for all as we finish.

This tour is entirely outside and we will seek shade during hot days wherever possible.
