As the group steps outside, they will be welcomed by breathtaking views of the Marina and Lake Michigan. There are endless opportunities for photography, with sailboats providing a perfect backdrop for artistic shots.
Following a brief introduction to Kenosha and the Harbor Park area, the tour will cover various sculptures, murals, and artworks throughout the downtown region.
During the downtown segment of the tour, the following sites will be visited or passed by:
- Place De Douai
- Wallace Fountain
- Bowfin Ruins
- The Winter tour sculpture “The Day the Music Died”
- Eagle’s Club
- Frank’s Diner
- Over 7 murals (AMC, Bjorns, Kinoje, Equinox…)
- Mayer Drug sign
- Veteran’s Memorial Park
- Downtown architecture
Whether participants are photographers, art enthusiasts, or simply visitors, the sights and scenes are truly stunning and beautiful.
- Kenosha Sculpture Walk - Enjoy a coffee at Anna’s on the Lake or an ice cream at Sandy’s Poppers.
The sculpture walk features numerous permanent and rotating sculptures throughout the Harbor Park area.
As the group returns to Lake Michigan, they will enjoy views of the Southport and North Pier lighthouses.
Back on the Lake Michigan shore, there are unobstructed views of the lake. On the clearest days, the outline of the Chicago skyline may be visible.
- Downtown Kenosha, Wisconsin - Enjoy a leisurely ride on the historic Kenosha streetcars. The history and reintroduction of the streetcars in Kenosha will be discussed.
From 1903 to 1932, electric rail was a common mode of transportation in Kenosha. On June 17, 2000, streetcar transportation was reintroduced to the community. Most of Kenosha’s streetcars are authentic 1951 President’s Conference Committee (PCC) cars. Each streetcar has a unique name and color scheme that honors the legacy of streetcar transportation in North America.
The Kenosha streetcars operate according to the schedule published on the city website.
- Kenosha Public Museum - The tour begins and ends near four public museums in the downtown area. Most are free or have a nominal entrance fee.

- The Southport Lighthouse Museum
The tour concludes at the public and civil war museums. The streetcar stops at the Dinosaur Museum. The lighthouse is located on Simmons Island, a short walk or drive around the marina.
