Perfect & safe experience as two girls - We had the best time with Beacon Safaris. Its been a while since then (February 2022), but I still remember the safari as a perfect experience. We traveled alone as two young european sisters and felt safe with our guide Robert the whole time. We catched up at Nairobi airport and had a 2,5 hour flight delay. So he waited patiently at the meeting point without any sign of us. Everything worked just as planned and we had a safe 5 hour ride to Amboseli national park and back. The Kibo Safari Camp which was included was one of the most spectacular accommondations I‘ve ever seen. We would recommend to stay there longer than one night. Food was good and everything was clean and inviting. For us two longer game drives we‘re enough, we would‘nt have enjoyed a longer safari. But this is a personal opinion. Robert was well informed about the animals, the history, and hidden jems of the parks. His english was perfect and he had a nice and clam way to show us around. He also was really willig to show us as much animals as possible. We decided for an mini van with an open roof, which is cheaper than a jeep. This was totaly fine for us, because the jeeps as mostly for a better asthetic, which we didn’t care for. The van was in good condition, we felt safe. During the whole trip (including weigh stations), nobody was pushy about buying souveniers or having any extra bookings. Our ride back to the airport was perfectly fine, he scheduled enough time for boarding (Nairobi airport is quite busy). Thank you Robert and Beacon Safari for that great experience. We should have tipped you better - sorry we were career entrants back than.

an unforgettable two days safari - We had an unforgettable two days safari organized by Simon.Simon’s organization and attention to detail made everything run smoothly. Our guide Richard is also such a knowledgeable and passionate guide. His insights and enthusiasm made every moment of the safari special, and we felt completely taken care of throughout the journey. You both played a huge part in making this trip unforgettable, and I’m truly grateful for the experience!

Into Africa, Out of this world! - I requested quotations from 5 tour operators and got their standard packages back. We wanted a customised, private tour and Robert, the owner, was very accommodating. Emails were going back and forth, with our requests and then his recommendations following. I was, at one stage apologising to him, because I felt very demanding. Robert came up with the goods and very soon I did not bother to discuss tour options with other operators, as I felt he was very honest in his replies and we soon struck a deal. At the end of the day, his quote was the best value for money. Our guide, Peter, became a friend, from picking us up at the airport, to dropping us off 9 days later. He was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Kenya's roads and traffic was much worse, compared to what we are used to, but he negotiated all situations like a pro. If ever I can afford to go to Kenya again, I will not hesitate to (only) contact Robert, from Beacon Safaris and insist that we want Peter to be our guide again!

Professional, comprehensive, and addresses every question or concern promptly. - My first Safari and could not have been a better place to start than in the Amboseli National Park. With Robert's assistance from Beacon, I had no problems with any aspect of the trip. There were numerous animals out and about during every drive we took. Suffice to say that it was an exception to not be able to look around and see an animal somewhere: usually numerous. Beacon Safaris, nor any safari company, can control the condition of the roads in and around the park, which were rough. And I knew I was going before the rainy season started, so there were signs of distress on some of the wildlife. But even with that, the number and variety of animals I was was outstanding. My guide, Charles, was never at a loss for information about anything we saw: I was continually learning and being amazed by how comprehensive his knowledge was about the wildlife, their habits, the park history, and just about any other topic that came up. Kibo Safari Camp is where I spent 3 nights and it provided a very authentic experience, with absolutely great staff. And the meals were terrific. I would definitely recommend Beacon Safaris.
