Nairobi - Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru National Park - Begin your journey with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or residence at 7:00am. Travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch and check-in at the lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the pink-hued lake, famous for its large flocks of flamingos, as well as the renowned white and black rhinos that inhabit the park. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and boasts one of the world’s largest populations of black rhinoceros, along with a significant number of white rhinos. The park also features the scenic Malaika Waterfalls. Additionally, a 188 km area around the lake is fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes. Predators in the park include lions, leopards, and large pythons, which can sometimes be seen crossing roads or hanging from trees in the dense woodlands.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - From Lake Nakuru, drive to the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch and check-in at the lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through the reserve in search of the Big Five and other wildlife.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After a hearty breakfast, check out of the lodge. Spend your last day visiting a local Maasai community village (optional) before driving back to Nairobi, arriving in the evening for drop-off at the airport or your hotel to continue with your onward plans.
