Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Guests will be picked up from their hotel and transferred to Drone Africa Safari’s office to meet fellow travelers before departing for the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The journey includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and Narok town for lunch and refueling.

After lunch, the journey continues from Narok to the reserve. Upon arrival at the camp, guests will check in and have a short rest. An afternoon game drive follows, where various animal species and birds can be observed with the guidance of a driver/guide. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Full day at Masai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Following breakfast, guests will enjoy a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape features scenic savannah grasslands on rolling hills. The reserve is renowned as Kenya’s premier park for game viewing, offering an extensive road and track network for close-range viewing and photography. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at the hippo pool, with opportunities to spot hippos and crocodiles.

The game drive continues until 5 p.m., with an optional visit to a Maasai village. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Maasai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park - An early morning pre-breakfast game drive is scheduled. After breakfast, guests will depart the Mara region for Nakuru, with lunch en route. The journey offers scenic views of Mt. Longmont, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Elementaita from the main highway. Arrival in Nakuru town is expected in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a budget hotel.

Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha - After breakfast, guests will embark on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its abundant birdlife, including flamingos. The park is a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino, and species such as Cape Buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline.

After a hot lunch, the journey continues to Lake Naivasha, where guests have the option to take a boat ride on this freshwater lake to see hippos and fish eagles at an additional cost. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a budget hotel.

Hell’s Gate National Park to Nairobi

Nairobi - After breakfast, guests will enjoy a nature walk in Hell’s Gate National Park. Bicycles can be hired for cycling in the park. The park is home to over 100 bird species, including vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, Augur Buzzard, and Swifts. African Buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, and baboons are also commonly seen. The park also hosts Klipspringer Antelope and Chanler’s Mountain Reedbuck.

Guests will enjoy hot or picnic lunches before driving back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. They will be dropped off at their Nairobi hotel.
