Fantastic - Fantastic tour in Amboseli by Black Santa - he is an amazing guide; extremely knowledgeable, polite, punctual and friendly. He went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience. He knew the best locations to see each animal, so that we were never disappointed. Simply the best guide!

Great safari with Sammy - Our overnight safari to Amboseli with Sammy was great! He’s an excellent guide and driver. The park is gorgeous. The AA lodge was nice, and the one for lunch the next day was delicious. Though we were unable to find lions, we saw tons of other animals and it was super worthwhile.

Fantastic guide - This was an amazing trip through Amboseli national Park. Our guide“black Santa“, was very knowledgeable about the park and all of the animals. He knew where the animals would be at certain times of the day so we could watch them migrate and lounge. He even knew where the best place for photos were and would take us to spots that allow us to take great pictures. He was very cordial and friendly. We would do a trip with him again anytime.

Great Experience through Timely, Reliable and Friendly Management - I had the great opportunity to tour Amboseli National Park through the guidance and support of Black Santa. I would like to highly recommend his service and applaud his job for pulling off a great tour. From start to finish, he was extremely diligent, accommodating, and trustworthy. The tour would not have been the same without his knowledge of the park, community, and key stops, as well as his friendly attention throughout the tour. I’m very glad to have enjoyed his effective and efficient tour management on this occasion. As for the tour program, the overnight option is highly recommended if you only have a free weekend in Kenya. Having the overnight stay within the tour allows for much necessary rest due to the long drives and avoids rushing through game drives in the park. Black Santa also makes sure that established timelines are fulfilled and allows for any necessary flexibility without delays. So, in conclusion, you will have enough time to enjoy the safari and tour without rushing while having the guidance of a very informative and knowledgeable guide that will make sure you have the experience you are looking for. Below is a brief description of my experience during the two days. Day 1: Was picked up at my hotel (included in the tour and allows for different hotel options) by Black Santa right on time at 7AM. Note that It takes around 4.5 hours to reach Amboseli from Nairobi (traffic conditions can affect for the better or worse). We first stopped by a local market at Emali at around 10AM, where you can find arts and crafts for sale and/or enjoy a coffee/late breakfast. I arrived at the AA Lodge, located 5kms away from Amboseli, by noon and checked in with no issues (was all pre-arranged by the tour and includes buffet lunch and dinner on Day 1 and buffet breakfast on Day 2). I then proceeded to have lunch and lay down for a while. Rooms are usually in small cabins containing 2 Full size beds with a bathroom (rooms were nice and tidy, bathroom needed a bit of polishing but all essentials, except warm water, worked). From 3:30PM-6:30PM, I did an afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park, which was great to see elephants crossing over the road towards the woodlands for bedtime. Entering the park was smooth and did not take more than 10 mins thanks to Black Santa’s effective pre-arrangement (park entry fees and registration are included in the tour). Once back in the hotel, I had dinner and watched a Maasai dance performance next to a bonfire (you can tip and/or buy Maasai arts and crafts afterwards). Day 2: I had breakfast at 6AM and checked out afterwards (again no issues) and proceeded to have a long morning game drive from 7 to 11:30AM. I must say that thanks to Black Santa’s knowledge of the park and its routes, I was able to see the many different ecosystems within the park and the specific animals belonging to each in a very informative and thorough way. Afterwards I got to visit the Oltukai hotel located inside the park, where I had a well-deserved drink and delicious buffet lunch (the latter is included in the tour). Finally, we headed back to Nairobi at around 1:30PM and arrived at my hotel at 6PM without any issues.

Fantastic 2 days in Amboseli - This was a great 2 day trip to Amboseli - our driver Samuel was knowledgeable and personable, and patient when needed. The days were structured well, with ample time to see many areas of the park. The accommodation was very basic, hence lost a star. But great value overall for the two days, with a lovely lunch on day 2. Highly recommend!
