After lunch, an afternoon game drive in Ol Pejeta will include a visit to Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Rhinos are a significant part of the experience at Ol Pejeta, which protects some of Kenya’s largest populations of black and white rhinos and shelters the world’s last two Northern white rhinos. The sanctuary also houses rescued chimps, and the free-roaming wildlife includes the Big Five. Commonly seen mammals include lions, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras. With over 500 bird species recorded, the savannah and mountain views are stunning.
