Hell’s Gate National Park is a compact natural attraction nestled between Lake Naivasha and the Longonot and Suswa volcanoes, offering a breath-taking escape from the city bustle of Nairobi. With its name derived from the powerful geothermal activities within, Hell’s Gate National Park stands as a remarkable part of the Great Rift Valley. Its breathtaking landscapes, comprising towering cliffs, gorges carved by water, stark rock towers, volcanoes adorned with scrub, and wafts of geothermal steam make it one of Africa’s most ambient parks. Hell’s Gate serves as the ideal setting for a day excursion from Nairobi where walking and biking are permitted. Visitors can spot a variety of animals such as bushbucks, dikdiks, gazelles, gnus, hartebeests, impalas, klipspringers, buffalos, zebras, baboons, and monkeys among others. This tour accommodates up to 14 people a day.

From Excitement to Pure Calm - This trip takes you through a full range of emotions - in the best way possible. The excitement of cycling through Hell’s Gate surrounded by wildlife was unmatched. Then came the calm and quiet of Lake Naivasha, where we gently cruised past hippos and birds.
Our guide, Douglas, was the perfect guide for this journey, blending knowledge, humor, and care. He made sure we felt comfortable and engaged throughout.
The organization by UST was excellent, with everything running on time. It’s a tour that leaves you feeling both energized and relaxed.

A journey worth every moment - It was truly worth every minute. From the scenic drive out of Nairobi to the final moments on Lake Naivasha, everything felt meaningful and well thought out.
Hell’s Gate was full of surprises - wildlife, cliffs, and beautiful open spaces. Douglas guided us with confidence and enthusiasm, making sure we didn’t miss anything important.
His knowledge made the experience more engaging. The boat ride later was peaceful and filled with wildlife sightings, especially hippos. UST handled everything professionally, making the day smooth and stress-free.

The Perfect Blend Of Thrill and Peace - If you’re looking for a tour that balances excitement and relaxation, this trip is perfect. Hell’s Gate gave us the thrill of cycling through wildlife and exploring dramatic landscapes.
The guide was exceptional - friendly, patient, and full of fascinating insights. He made sure everyone felt safe and included. After the adventure, the peaceful waters of Lake Naivasha offered a completely different experience.
Watching hippos and birds while drifting across the lake was incredibly calming. The entire day was well planned and enjoyable. This tour agency created a perfect balance between adventure and tranquility.

A Day That Felt like A dream - The trip felt almost unreal in the best way possible. The towering cliffs, open plains, and free-roaming wildlife at Hell’s Gate were breathtaking.
Riding a bicycle through such a landscape is something I will never forget. Douglas was a kind and insightful guide who made sure we experienced every highlight.
He answered all our questions and added humor along the way. The boat ride at Lake Naivasha was calm and refreshing, with hippos quietly surfacing nearby. Everything was smooth and perfectly organized. They exceeded my expectations completely.

Nature comes alive around you - The Full-Day Tour felt like stepping into a living documentary. From the moment we entered Hell’s Gate, everything felt raw and alive. Cycling alongside zebras and watching giraffes in the distance was surreal.
Douglas, our guide, made the entire experience richer with his storytelling and deep knowledge of the park. He knew exactly where to go and when to pause for the best moments.

Adventure and Relaxation Combined - This Full-Day Trip perfectly combines adventure and relaxation. Hell's Gate gave us the thrill of exploring on bicycles while surrounded by spectacular rock formations and wildlife.
Our guide Douglas was extremely knowledgeable and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He pointed out animals and explained the unique geology of the area.
Later, the calm waters of Lake Naivasha offered a peaceful boat ride where we saw hippos and beautiful birds. Everything from pickup to drop-off was smooth and professional. UST delivered an excellent tour that I would recommend to anyone visiting Nairobi.

A Truly Unique Kenyan Experience - They gave us a unique and unforgettable Kenyan experience. Hell's Gate is unlike any other park because you can walk or cycle right through the wildlife habitat.
Douglas was a wonderful guide who shared interesting facts about the animals and landscapes while making the tour fun and engaging.
After exploring the park, the boat ride on Lake Naivasha allowed us to see hippos and a wide variety of birds up close. The entire day was well paced and very enjoyable. UST did an excellent job organizing everything.

Stunning Scenery and Great Guiding - I highly recommend this trip. The scenery at Hell's Gate National Park is absolutely dramatic, with towering cliffs and beautiful open landscapes.
Cycling through the park while seeing animals like zebras and giraffes was an amazing experience. Douglas was a brilliant guide who kept us entertained with stories and helpful explanations about the park.
At Lake Naivasha we enjoyed a peaceful boat ride where we spotted hippos and many water birds. The entire trip was well organized and comfortable. UST clearly knows how to deliver a high-quality day tour.

One of the Best Day Trips From Nairobi - If you are looking for an exciting day trip, this is a fantastic choice. The combination of cycling through Hell's Gate and relaxing on Lake Naivasha makes the day both adventurous and peaceful.
We had an outstanding guide, Douglas, who made the journey informative and entertaining. His knowledge of the wildlife and the park’s history added great value to the experience.
Seeing zebras in the park and hippos in the lake made the trip even more special. Everything was well arranged and comfortable. UST truly delivered one of the best tours I experienced in Kenya.

Well-Organized Nature Tour - The tour was beautifully organized and full of memorable moments. Hell's Gate offered amazing scenery and the chance to walk close to wildlife without the usual safari vehicles.
Douglas was an outstanding guide who made the entire trip enjoyable with his knowledge and enthusiasm. He made sure we had enough time to explore the park and take photos.
