The adventure kicks off with an early morning hotel pickup in Nairobi, followed by a transfer to the Madaraka Express SGR station.

Hop on the train to Voi, relishing a comfortable and picturesque journey through Kenya’s countryside. Upon reaching Voi SGR Station, a professional safari driver-guide will greet you and take you to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.

Arrive at the renowned Salt Lick Safari Lodge just in time for check-in and lunch. After some relaxation with views of the waterhole, embark on your first afternoon game drive, seeking out elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and other wildlife.

Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Begin your day with an early morning game drive, the prime time to spot predators and witness wildlife at their most active. Watch the sunrise over the sanctuary as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes wander the plains.

After lunch, set out for an afternoon game drive, exploring various areas of the sanctuary in search of lions, cheetahs, zebras, and a variety of birdlife.

Return to Salt Lick Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Voi – Return SGR to Nairobi

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Savor breakfast at Salt Lick Safari Lodge and take in your final views of the wildlife at the waterhole before checking out.

Then, depart the lodge and travel by road to Voi SGR Station (approximately a 1-hour drive) through Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.

Board the Madaraka Express train for your return trip to Nairobi, enjoying a comfortable ride back to the city. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or designated drop-off point.
