Visitors will have the entire day to explore the park, with a break for a picnic lunch. Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most renowned wildlife sanctuaries. Often called “The home of elephants,” it hosts some of the largest elephant herds. The park also features large populations of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and antelope. Additionally, lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, and numerous bird species can be found in Amboseli.
Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park - Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Depart Amboseli in the morning, passing through Nairobi for lunch, then continue to the Great Rift Valley, pausing to admire the scenery en route. Arrival at Lake Nakuru, also known as the Pink Lake due to its flamingo population, is expected in the early evening. A game drive will follow, with dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Nakuru guest house. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos and over 400 bird species. The lake, a soda or alkaline lake on the Rift Valley floor, is also a crucial sanctuary for endangered species.
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Embark on an early-morning game drive to observe and photograph birds and animals, then enjoy breakfast before departing for Masai Mara. Arrival is scheduled for lunchtime, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Full day at Masai Mara National Reserve
Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, leave the camp for a full day game drive. A picnic lunch will be provided, as the itinerary includes the Mara River, famous for the annual wildebeest migration.
Masai Mara to Nairobi
Nairobi - Participate in an early morning game drive from 6:30am to 9:30am, offering a chance to spot the big five, then return to the camp for breakfast. Afterward, travel to Nairobi with a lunch stop in Narok. Arrival in Nairobi is expected in the early afternoon, with a drop-off at the hotel or airport, concluding the adventure.
