The day will be spent at Nakuru National Park, a renowned tourist destination famous for its large population of flamingos. It is situated approximately 3 hours from Nairobi city center. There will be a brief stop at the viewpoint, where visitors can take photos and enjoy the stunning views of the Great Rift Valley’s plains, hills, landscapes, and human settlements. At the viewpoint, there are curio shops offering a variety of Kenyan artifacts and beadwork, which can be admired and purchased. Upon arrival at Nakuru National Park, the pink shores of the lake will greet visitors with thousands of flamingos. The lake is considered a bird-watching paradise, boasting over 450 bird species. The park is home to a diverse range of animals, including white rhinos, colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and various types of antelope, providing an exciting wildlife spotting experience.
