Excellent. We saw cheetah with 6 cubs ☺️ Amazing with John the guide - Our recent trip with Valley Rocks Tours was fantastic. Our guide John was incredibly knowledgeable about the areas history. He was also passionate. The tour went as per the itinerary was planned, allowing us to see all the key sight's. We were able to see cheetah with 6 cubs which we've never seen. Also the driver guide explained we were lucky to spot them because it's very rare to spot them. John made sure we've spotted 90% of animals. Valley Rocks Tours made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a well organized and enriching travel experience

Rhinos and more! - James made sure I had a good experience! When I said I most wanted to see rhinos, he made sure that we drove through the park until we found them. Well worth it. He was also friendly and had a good sense of humor. We had car troubles at the end of the day, but even then he made sure I was taken back to my hotel by another driver.

Amazing landscapes and animals - Amazing one day trip in Nakuru lake. Kelvin and Lawrence were very good guides trying to spot animals and were sharing their knowledge. A must see if you are short in time around Nairobi at a reasonable price.

Amazing site of lake nakuru. - **Lake Nakuru National Park** is one of Kenya's most famous wildlife parks, located in the Great Rift Valley, about 140 kilometers (87 miles) northwest of Nairobi. It is renowned for its birdlife, particularly the thousands of flamingos that often gather on the shores of Lake Nakuru, making it a popular destination for birdwatchers. The park offers a diverse ecosystem with various wildlife and stunning landscapes, ranging from dense forests and savannas to rocky outcrops. Lake Nakuru:** - The park is named after **Lake Nakuru**, a shallow, alkaline lake in the Rift Valley. In addition to flamingos, the lake is home to other bird species such as pelicans and egrets. Wildlife:** - Lake Nakuru National Park is a haven for wildlife, including both common and rare species. The park is home to over **400 species of birds** and several mammal species such as Scenic Landscapes:** - The park offers breathtaking scenery with diverse habitats. The **Baboon Cliff** provides a panoramic view of the park, and the **Makalia Falls** is a beautiful spot where water cascades down into a pool below. - The landscape is a combination of wooded areas, grasslands, and rocky hills, which enhances the park's appeal to tourists. Flora: - The vegetation in the park varies, from acacia woodlands and grasslands to the forested slopes of the surrounding hills. The lush vegetation supports a rich variety of herbivores and provides shelter for the park's predators. Conservation Efforts:** - Lake Nakuru National Park has been at the forefront of wildlife conservation in Kenya. Efforts have been made to protect endangered species, particularly rhinos, and the park is part of Kenya's larger network of protected areas working to combat poaching and habitat loss. Activities - **Game drives** are the most popular activity, where visitors can spot the park's diverse wildlife. - Bird watching** is another key activity due to the wide variety of bird species in the park. Nature walks** with park rangers are available, allowing visitors to explore the park on foot. - Picnicking and camping** are permitted in designated areas within the park. Visiting Information: -Best time to visit:** The park can be visited year-round, but the dry season (from June to September) is generally considered the best time for wildlife viewing. - Access:** Lake Nakuru National Park is accessible by road, about a 3-hour drive from Nairobi, and has a variety of accommodation options ranging from budget campsites to luxury lodges...

I can’t imagine a better guide than John - I was so happy with my driver John on my previous safari that I decided to do another safari with him in Lake Nakuru National Park. And it was the best decision I could have made! John was a fantastic guide here too. He always communicated well with the other drivers via radio so that he could show me the most amazing animals up close. You could tell that he did everything he could, to make me happy. Thanks to him, I saw rhinos up close and even witnessed a large herd of lions crossing the road right in front of our car. I couldn't imagine a better guide. When I return to Kenya, I will definitely go on safari with John again. I have already done several safaris in Africa but have never experienced a driver as attentive, courteous and enthusiastic as John. Everyone who goes on safari in Kenya should go with John!!

Not a great experience - The most impressive animals are often distant, but it’s a lovely park. There were no flamingos. I did not appreciate the guide. He was impersonal, dismissive, & not really interested in me as a customer. I sometimes had to point out animals to him for him to notice, he was on his phone a lot, & I had to listen to his music on the 3 hour ride back to Nairobi when I wanted to sleep. He did turn it down upon request, but I wanted to nap & talk to my family & it feels ridiculous that I had to ask at all. He also often held me up to take his own pictures and stopped where he wanted to in order to snap pics on his phone. He felt like more of a taxi driver than a guide. I might give this a better review if the tour company experience was better.
