Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

At 8 am, guests will be collected from their Nairobi hotel to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The drive includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for 10-15 minutes to enjoy the scenery. Lunch will be served at the lodge in Maasai Mara. In the afternoon, after checking in, guests will depart for a sunset game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara
Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, guests will embark on a full day of exploration in Masai Mara, seeking the Big Five and witnessing the annual wildebeest migration, which involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Visitors are almost certain to see the Big Five. The extraordinary wildebeest migration, a spectacular event unique to Maasai Mara, is considered the seventh wonder of the world. At midday, a picnic lunch will be provided in the park. Guests will visit the site of the annual wildebeest migration and observe resident crocodiles and hippos along the banks of the Mara River, then continue with the game drive in the Mara Reserve.
Optional: In the morning, visit a local Maasai village for a cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people.
Mara River - The Mara River, located in Narok County (Kenya) and Mara Region (Tanzania), lies across the migration path of ungulates in the Maasai Mara/Serengeti game reserves. This is where the wildebeest migration occurs, and many resident hippos and crocodiles can be found.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After an early breakfast, guests will check out. A simple complimentary snack lunch will be provided en route at Travellers Motel. The drive back to Nairobi will then commence. Upon arrival, guests will be dropped off at their hotel or the airport.
