Nairobi to Masai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - The tour begins with a 7:30 AM pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, followed by a drive to the Masai Mara. This journey takes approximately 5 to 6.5 hours, including a picturesque stop at the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in the Masai Mara shortly after noon, check into your lodge or camp, enjoy a hot lunch, and then set off for an afternoon game drive.
After the game drive, return to the lodge or camp, arriving around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, freshen up, and savor a freshly prepared dinner. Overnight stay at your lodge.
Note: The final hour of the drive to Masai Mara is on a corrugated and bumpy road, which may be uncomfortable for clients with back issues. Those with back problems might consider flying directly to and from the Masai Mara.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Today’s itinerary is flexible; you can discuss it with your guide the previous evening to plan the day’s schedule.
You can either enjoy a leisurely breakfast or depart for full-day game drives around 7:30 AM with a packed lunch, returning to the lodge in the late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Alternatively, you can leave at 6:00 AM for an early morning game drive (the optimal time to see the animals and a good chance to witness a hunt or kill). Later, return to the accommodation for breakfast, relax for a while, and then head out on an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch. You will stop at a picnic spot for lunch and then continue the game drive until the park closes. Around 4:00 PM, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Nairobi - After a leisurely breakfast, travel back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi in the evening, you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
