Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, guests will embark on a full-day game drive. Located in southwest Kenya, Masai Mara is one of Africa’s premier wildlife reserves. Together with Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, it forms one of Africa’s most diverse and spectacular ecosystems, renowned for big game viewing. The Mara’s gentle, fertile climate, bordered by The Rift, provides a richly stocked reserve spanning 1672 sq km, offering an endless wildlife spectacle. Large herds of elephants roam among lions, buffalo, Thompson gazelles, zebras, and topis. Occasionally, black rhinos can be spotted. In the Mara River, hippos play and crocodiles bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million wildebeest follows the rains north. After exploring the park, guests will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
