Mombasa - Saltlick

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Guests will be collected from their beach or Nairobi hotel early in the morning at 5:00 AM and will travel by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. An exciting game drive will be enjoyed en route. Upon reaching the lodge, lunch will be served, followed by some relaxation before embarking on a game drive in the sanctuary to spot lions and other wildlife until sunset.

Afterward, guests will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge. This lodge is particularly notable for its creative design. A series of rondavels are elevated on stilts above several water holes. These two-story towers, topped with peaked thatch roofs and connected by open-air bridges, evoke an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge is designed with game viewing in mind, offering a panoramic view of the sanctuary and providing breathtaking views of the landscape and wildlife.
