Tour Program
Pick-up from Mombasa, Mombasa Hotels, Mombasa Port, and North Coast beach hotels at 7:00 am.
Arrive at Shimba Hills National Reserve and embark on a morning game drive.
Look out for the endangered Sable Antelope, Elephants, Giraffes, possibly Leopards, civet cats, monkeys, and shrews.
For bird enthusiasts, over 100 bird species have been recorded, including Ostrich, Eagle, African Hawk, and Honey Guide.
Further explore Shimba Hills on foot with our guide, taking a half-hour hike to Shedrick Falls to admire the cascading waters.
Later, stop at Shimba Hills Green Safari Lodge for lunch and enjoy the scenic views from the lodge’s vantage points.
After the tour, return to your hotel/residence, concluding the tour with a drop-off.

As one of the largest coastal forests in East Africa after Arabuko-Sokoke Forest, this reserve is rich in flora and fauna and hosts the highest density of African elephants in Kenya. Other animal species found in the area are Sable antelope, elephant shrew, bushy-tailed mongoose and other small mammals like fruit bats. The forest is an important bird area and is endowed with forest birdlife while the grasslands hold localized species such as red-necked-Spur fowl, Croaking Cisticola, and Zanzibar Red Bishop. The scenic Sheldrick Falls and the dense Mwaluganje Forest are also found here
