Tsavo National Park East - Morning Departure: The tour operator will pick guests up early, typically around 6 a.m., from their hotel or accommodation in Mombasa, Diani, or Nairobi.
Travel and Entry: Guests will travel in a customized safari van or 4x4 with a pop-up roof for optimal game viewing. The journey from the coast takes approximately 2.5 to 5 hours. Arrival at a park gate, such as Bachuma, is expected by mid-morning.
Afternoon Game Drive: After checking into the lodge or tented camp and enjoying lunch, guests will embark on an afternoon game drive. This is the first chance to see the park’s renowned “red elephants,” along with lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, and hundreds of bird species.
Dinner and Overnight Stay: Guests will return to their accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, often at a lodge overlooking a waterhole.

Morning Game Drive and Departure
