• Jeita Grotto - The Jeita Grotto is a remarkable system of two distinct yet interconnected karstic limestone caves, formed over millions of years, making it the longest cave complex in the Middle East. Situated 300 meters above sea level, it boasts a height difference of 305 meters. The upper cave stretches 2,130 meters and is adorned with a rich variety of crystallized formations, including stalactites, stalagmites, columns, mushrooms, ponds, curtains, and draperies. The lower gallery, 60 meters beneath the upper gallery, extends 6,200 meters and features a serene underwater river and lake.
• Byblos Bank - Byblos is one of the most ancient Phoenician cities, inhabited since Neolithic times. It has been intricately linked to the legends and history of the Mediterranean region for millennia and is closely associated with the history and spread of the Phoenician alphabet.
• Byblos Castle - Byblos Castle is a beautifully restored 12th-century Crusader castle, encircled by a 10-meter-wide dry moat. It is located within Byblos’ captivating archaeological site, which includes the ruins of the Temple of Baalat Gebal and the Temple of the Obelisks. This impressive structure offers a stunning view over the ruins from the top of its square keep. Below the walls, a series of Bronze Age dwellings can be clearly seen as you gaze towards the sea. Inside the castle, there is a small museum and a room with informative panels detailing the city’s history.
• Old Souk - Byblos Old Souk is a charming market where visitors can purchase souvenirs and antiques or simply wander along the cobblestone streets, enjoying the historic architecture.
• Byblos Port - Byblos Port is an ancient harbor in Byblos, believed by the Lebanese to be the oldest port in the world. Around 3000 BC, it was the most significant timber shipping hub in the eastern Mediterranean.
• IXSIR Winery / Tour and Tasting - IXSIR is a Lebanese winery established in 2008, located in the picturesque hills of Batroun, north Lebanon. A 17th-century traditional Lebanese house overlooks the contemporary winery. The name IXSIR is derived from the original Arabic word for ‘Elixir,’ symbolizing the purest form of all substances. Winemaking at IXSIR results in unique wines, born from the perfect blend of subtlety and complexity. The local vineyard is the estate’s crown jewel, embraced by the winery.
