Bears, waterfalls & totems! - Absolutely fantastic!! Our guide knew all the places to bring us for the best chance of seeing wildlife. She also was a local who had so much information to share with us.

Great price, great tour guide, and way better than a cruise line excursion! - Great tour. We saw bears, humpback whales, salmon, and seals. Rick took us to a stand that sold homemade jam and smoked salmon. He was knowledgeable about the islands history and culture. The totem pole park was very cool. You won’t get to see and do all of that on a normal cruise ship tour. This is the way to go!

Great personlized tour - Rick gave us a very informative tour of Ketchikan town and we all really enjoyed the stories of the totem pole history and indigenous stories. He tried hard to find the bears but they were shy. Highly recommend this personalized tour.

Best way to spend 4 hours in Ketchikan - Rick was awesome. He showed us places and let us explore at our own pace and was informative. We saw a black bear, a totem pole park/museum, salmon run, a tidal pool, walked in a rainforest, saw a waterfall...it was great! Highly recommend.

8 bears !!! - We saw 8 bears. Bernie shared her awesome binoculars. At the end we had a few minutes left so she drove us around town and shared her love of her hometown. Awesome!

Beautiful Ketchikan and Bears - We had an amazing experience! We saw two bears feasting on salmon! Our tour was our own and tailored to just us! We spent most of our time watching the bears. I highly recommend this tour for anybody wanting to see bears in their natural habitat!

Where a bear was Yesterday - This tour was a complete disappointment. We have been on many Viator tours and this was one we wished we didn't book. I would not recommend spending your money on this tour. Bernie was our tour guide she was doing her best to show us Ketchikan , We basically went for a three hour car ride and saw pretty much nothing . We were shown where a bear was yesterday.

Dissappointing. - The owner decided to do the tour for us. Thought it would be better. We stopped at all the places other tourists stopped at with their tours. She took us not far from the city to see if she could find us bears between houses in a rural area. Yikes! Then stopped at a friend's house along the water (friend wasn't there) to look out at the bay and use the port-a-pots if we needed to. Believe it or not, it was the most expensive of all the tours we had during our Alaska vacation. Tour guide may have been more concerned about getting back home to can her salmon.
