8 bears !!! - We saw 8 bears. Bernie shared her awesome binoculars. At the end we had a few minutes left so she drove us around town and shared her love of her hometown. Awesome!

Beautiful Ketchikan and Bears - We had an amazing experience! We saw two bears feasting on salmon! Our tour was our own and tailored to just us! We spent most of our time watching the bears. I highly recommend this tour for anybody wanting to see bears in their natural habitat!

Wonderfull expereience - We had a wonderful experience. Rick was very knowledgeable and kind. He took us to some tourist places and other beautiful places that were not as crowded. He explained and showed us the salmon at different stages. Also took us to the area where we were able to spot about 5 bears. He also told us were to go after his tour.

Ketchikan make your own tour - Jason showed us around the island and we had a marvelous time. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.I highly recommend this tour.

Bernie is a great driver. - Our driver, Bernadette, is lovely and very experienced. we especially loved the way she showed us around real life in Ketchigan, but expected a bit more of wild life, but they can't be forced!

Decent but won't book again - Bernie is a knowledgeable local guide in Ketchikan and made a genuine effort to help us spot eagles, bears, and salmon. The tour itself was decent, but overall the experience was just okay.
1. The tour felt unstructured — more like a “blind ride.” We had no idea where we were heading, how many stops there would be, or what we could expect until we arrived at each location. Even though we mentioned our interest in wildlife, there was no clear overview of the itinerary.
2. Bernie repeatedly complained about Norwegian’s port being farther away from the others. These comments felt unprofessional and made the ride less enjoyable.
3. Customer service was lacking in communication. For example, when we asked to be dropped off downtown, Bernie stopped at a random spot, said “this is downtown,” and left — without explaining where exactly we were or how far it was from the shuttle area.
4. I booked the tour with clear details about the number of adults and toddlers, yet only one toddler booster seat was provided. Instead of acknowledging this oversight, Bernie complained that we should have messaged her ahead of time, even though this information was already included in the booking.
In short: Knowledgeable guide, but poor organization and communication overshadowed the experience.

Just so so - Very average tour. Took us to the hot spots. Saw a bit of wildlife. Guide was a glorified taxi driver who provided just very basic info

Dissappointing. - The owner decided to do the tour for us. Thought it would be better. We stopped at all the places other tourists stopped at with their tours. She took us not far from the city to see if she could find us bears between houses in a rural area. Yikes! Then stopped at a friend's house along the water (friend wasn't there) to look out at the bay and use the port-a-pots if we needed to. Believe it or not, it was the most expensive of all the tours we had during our Alaska vacation. Tour guide may have been more concerned about getting back home to can her salmon.
