Stellar rain forest hike and tour in Ketchikan - Jordan is a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide! He took my husband and I to Tongass National Forest and we hiked through the forest and then walked along the beach studying sea life the tide pools. He’s local and his passion for nature shines through the entire tour. He talks about the wildlife and plant life in the area and he showed us his favorite tree- it’s definitely worth the look. We went the whole length of Tongass highway with the rain forest at one end and then at the other end was a phone booth! The phone actually worked for local calls (sadly didn’t work for my long distance calls)! We stopped at Potlatch Park and saw some really neat totems there. Not to mention the Gun Museum and Model T cars! We highly recommend this experience with Jordan as your tour guide! He also has great restaurant recs- the crab and halibut at Annabelle’s were delish.

Highly Recommend Jordan! - I generally don’t post reviews, good or bad, but this experience was so spectacular that I felt I needed to. For those of us who long for a level of service that escapes us 99% of the time these days (I’m 50), Jordan is a contemporary version of service levels we long for. Why? One, he’s local. He’s not just someone hired by the cruise ships, he lives locally along with multiple generations preceding him. Two, when you’re with him for five minutes you know how important what he’s doing is to him. He loves what we does! Lastly, he is more interested in ensuring you have a great time versus a corporate outfit that’s checking the tourism payday box. Highly recommend.

Best Tour Ever! - This tour was the highlight of our entire vacation. Jordan was such an amazing guide that was a wealth of knowledge about the area. The hike was so enjoyable and I learned so much about the local flora and fauna. My girls loved looking through all the tidepools and seeing all the cool animals. The stop at Totem Blight was also such a treat and I loved learning about the local indigenous culture and history. I would highly suggest this tour to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and loves learning about local wildlife and history. Can't wait to visit Ketchikan again!

Custom Ketchikan Tour - Jordan was an excellent tour guide with complete knowledge of the area. Since this is his home, he enjoys sharing his knowledge. He is also completely flexible, so we added on time to enjoy the totem park as well. We highly recommend using this tour company!

Highly recommend! - I saw so much of the island! Jordan was accommodating and flexible, structured the time around where I wanted to see, and I never felt rushed. He had great insights and knowledge, definitely not just scripted. Small group approach was perfect, I was definitely not envious of the groups of 20 trying to navigate. Collected sea glass and got great totem park book recommendations. Highly recommend!

Botanical and wildlife highlights - Hiked the end of the road trail at the north end of Ketchikan. Hosted by Jordan, a local who grew up here. Rife with insights on the trees, wildlife, and coastal patterns. A treat!

Lovely walk through old growth forest. - - The walk through the forest is lovely. Viewing of animals is hit and miss. It is not a zoo. If you go with the expectation that you MUST see wildlife, you will be disappointed. If you go with the expectation that you are out in nature and you see trees that are hundreds of years old. You see old growth forest. And simply spectacular trees with incredible character then you will be better off. Jordan is a great guide with lots of tidbits on plants and trees and life in Ketchikan.
