Ketchikan Tour w/Alberta - This is a really nice tour. Alberta was great! She is from the area and has a lot of knowledge which she shares along with personal stories. She is very welcoming and communicates where and when to meet. Would definitely recommend.

Great way to see Ketchikan - Terrific in-depth tour of Ketchikan. Our tour guide, Jamie Charles, was an amazing wealth of information. She took us to off-beaten areas to see totem poles, eagles and black bears. She shared incredibly insights of life in Ketchikan and Alaska. Highly recommend.

Colorful Ketchikan - What a great time we had in Ketchikan . Our Guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history about the totem poles. We saw lots of bald eagles, and Wildlife. We were able to see lots of different areas of Ketchikan, beach and city areas. Would’ve been great if we had time for a logging show, but that’s for another day.

Amazing tour!! - Caroline was awesome!! She was so knowledgeable and friendly. She tailored our tour to our interests. We wanted to get away from the crowds and she did not disappoint! We saw bears, eagles, and seals. We went on a beautiful hike near a lake and saw a waterfall. We even saw big banana slugs! Caroline also told us amazing information about native culture and totem poles. Highly recommend!

Ketchikan Private tour with 8 people - To start this was our favorite excursion that we had during our cruise in Alaska. We had a great guide, Alberta who kept in constant communication during our ship docking at Norwegian's Ward Cove, different locations from other cruise lines. After Alberta picked us up we headed to a park for a quick stop to use restrooms and walk around totakd pictures and listen to read historic information. We then headed to Ward Lake Trail, during the drive Alberta gave tons if information about the area and here native family. It was a great perspective hearing from a native of the area. The hike on Ward Lake trail was beautiful as it lead us through a rain forest, past rushing rapids to a wide open cove where we saw lots of sea life. The whole time Alberta talked about the animals, terrain, and foliage and how plants and berries are used by the natives. We then went to Totem Bright State Park and saw how totems were created and repaired, and saw a community clan house where Alberta explained how it was used with great detail. This lead to another cove and open water with great views. We then traveled to Downtown Ketchican and Alberta dropped us off near the salmon ladder on creek street. We were able to see salmon swimming up stream along with seals in Ketchikan creek while walking the boardwalk above the water. We were given plenty of time to visit the shops and take pictures of historic Creek Street buildings. From there Alberta took back to our cruise port after a wonderful day. Our whole group agreed this was the highlight of our cruise, and we plan on returning again Thanks Alberta!

Magical Ketchikan - Sid was an excellent tour guide, who clearly loves Ketchikan and is very knowledgeable. We had her take us to her favorite spots and they were nothing short of spectacular. We did luck out and see quite a bit of wildlife including 3 humpback whales but our experience would still have been equally delightful. Ketchikan is truly a magical place and Sid did a great job in our limited time at port showing us why and telling us great stories.

Cultural Immersion - Our family had a memorable time with Sharon. It’s not often that you have the opportunity to drive off the main path on a cruise excursion to immerse yourself in the culture and history of the places you visit. We developed an appreciation for the beauty in both the intricate carvings and the nature of Ketchikan. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting this part of Alaska.

Absolutely Fantastic! - Caroline couldn’t have been nicer and her knowledge of the land there in Ketchikan was unmatched. We told her at the beginning the tour, we had not seen the salmon running or a bear on our trip as of yet and we were treated to both as she persevered until we did. We count have been happier

Horrible - First off there really is not much to do in Ketchikan. We had asked to do more hiking on this trip. Our guide Alberta was more interested in telling us her story. I am not going to go into much detail regarding her story but it was nothing any of us wanted to hear on vacation. The photo stops are nothing worth stopping at and the totem pole park is pretty lame. There is a lodge at the Totem pole park but unless you are on a Princess cruise you will not be allowed inside. The “hike” we did take was about 150’ through the Tongas National Rainforest, she proceeded to tell us now you can say you hiked the Tongas National Rainforest. We did get to park and get very close to a lot of eagles which was cool just the environment was odd as you are basically on someone else’s property. Our recommendation for Ketchikan would be to get all your shopping done at this port as they definitely had the best shops and then explore Ketchikan by foot or do sea kayaking.
