• Mount Rushmore National Memorial - This 4-hour narrated tour guides visitors through the Black Hills to America’s Shrine of Democracy. A 14-minute video provides insights into the carving, the sculptor Gutzon Borglum, and the workers involved.

The Lincoln Borglum Museum features impressive displays about Borglum, his family, his works, the mountain, the machinery, and the workers.

The Presidential Trail offers a gentle incline walk beneath the faces in the rock rubble, providing excellent photo opportunities of the individual faces. For those who venture further, there is a challenging walk down to the Sculptor’s Studio (open only during the summer months) and then back up to the viewing terrace.

The Avenue of Flags showcases all 50 states and territories, along with their respective dates of admission to the Union. Additionally, a new Youth Exploration area has recently opened.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial is an impressive sculpture carved into Mount Rushmore, located in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Finished in 1941 under the guidance of Gutzon Borglum and his son Lincoln, the sculpture showcases the approximately 60-foot-tall granite faces of U.S. presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.

The location also includes a museum with interactive exhibits.
