Nookat - Start the day with an early breakfast before returning to the shepherds’ summer pasture on a scenic 2-hour trek. Engage in milking cows and mares, and participate in the traditional fermentation of kymyz—with the opportunity to taste the kymyz you helped create.
Next, visit the highland pastures where yaks roam freely, offering a rare and impressive glimpse into Kyrgyz nomadic life.
Before returning to the base camp at sunset, listen to the tribe’s ancestral Sanjyra—a sacred oral family tree tracing back 13 generations, shared by your hosts, descendants of the Okshotmo-Bhoru nomadic tribe. Enjoy a warm dinner and overnight stay in your yurt.
Free Time, Bee Farm Visit & Return to Osh
Nookat - After breakfast at the Base Camp, enjoy approximately 2 hours of rest and leisure time—a perfect opportunity to soak in the tranquil mountain surroundings or take a final stroll near the yurts.
Before heading back to Osh, visit a local bee farm to observe the daily routines of Kyrgyz beekeepers, taste freshly harvested honey, and explore the farm’s fruit garden. Depending on the season, sample local apricots, apples, or other fruits. Honey will also be available for purchase if you wish to take a sweet souvenir home.
After spending about an hour at the bee farm, continue the drive back to Osh and be dropped off at your original pickup location.
