• Seakayak Krabi - Be greeted by our welcoming driver and enjoy a 20-minute scenic drive through charming rural villages to the stunning, karst-studded Thalane Bay, located in northern Krabi. Upon arrival at the kayaking center with its private pier, savor a coffee while your guide prepares the equipment and checks the tide tables. Receive a brief tutorial on paddle usage before embarking on the open kayaks.

Begin paddling a short distance across open water from the launch point to the mangrove forest of Ao Thalane. Your guide will navigate you through shallow channels and over submerged roots. Observe cliffs adorned with ancient paintings, believed to be thousands of years old, created by sea gypsies who once inhabited the area.

Occasionally, pause paddling to simply listen. Experience the tranquility, interrupted only by the occasional sound of cicadas and the rustling of leaves above. The mangrove’s aerial roots at Ao Thalane are home to numerous crustaceans, attracting game fish like snappers. You may also spot various bird species and monkeys, particularly the crab-eating macaque.

Certain parts of the journey require maneuvering sharp turns in tight spaces as you weave through the forest. This tour is specially designed to be semi-private, with a maximum of 10 people per guide, allowing you to enjoy the pristine environment without large crowds.

At midday, indulge in a delicious Thai-style lunch to recharge for the next adventure. Continue paddling into the canyons of Ao Thalane, alongside towering limestone cliffs. Enter a large cave adorned with stalagmites and stalactites, known as the Crocodile Cave, named for its stalactites that resemble a crocodile to the imaginative eye.

Exit the cave and paddle through a lagoon as you leave the forest. Surrounded by limestone karsts, this breathtaking seascape at Ao Thalane has been a filming location for many movies. The total paddling time is approximately 3 hours, excluding breaks.
