- Thonburi - For this tour, participants will need to make their way to the meeting point at Krung Thonburi BTS Station. Here, they will meet the guide, who will introduce the tour before everyone hops into their tuk-tuk (2 or 3 people per tuk-tuk).
Krung Thonburi is the first station when crossing the river to the Thonburi side of Bangkok. Thonburi offers a more local atmosphere, and the tour will explore both local life and history on this side of the river before heading to the historic area of Rattanakosin.
- Wongwian Yai area - There will be a stop at a local street food market to sample a variety of snacks and learn about the local lifestyle and culture.
- Wat Prayurawongsawat Worawihan - This is an alternative stop to Wat Arun Temple due to its temporary closure for renovations.
Wat Prayoon Temple, a recipient of the UNESCO Cultural Heritage Conservation Award of Excellence in 2013, boasts a rich history. Built during the reign of King Rama III, this temple is approximately 200 years old. It features a stunning white stupa visible from miles away due to its large size, making it a perfect alternative to Wat Arun Temple.
- Pak Khlong Talat (Flower Market) - Participants will take a walk through the famous Bangkok Flower Market, which operates 24 hours a day and is especially vibrant at night.
- Bangkok - There will be a stop at a local restaurant for dinner. The restaurant choice may vary to best accommodate the group.
- Rattanakosin (Bangkok Old City) - The tour will cross back over the river to explore the historic area of Rattanakosin, home to many of Bangkok’s most famous landmarks.
- The Grand Palace - The tour will pass by The Grand Palace, which, although closed in the evening, provides a great photo opportunity with its illuminated backdrop.
- Wat Phra Chetuphon - This stop is currently suspended as Wat Pho is closed at night. Once it reopens, the tour will include this stop again. In the meantime, Wat Arun will be visited instead.
- Giant Swing - The Giant Swing is one of Bangkok’s key landmarks, and there will be a brief stop to learn about its history.
- Chinatown - Bangkok - The final stop will be in Chinatown. At night, Chinatown comes alive with street food vendors, and the tour will conclude with dessert.

Please do not confuse this tour with our “Bangkok Evening Street Food Tuk Tuk Adventure,” which is more focused on street food experiences.
During this 4-hour tour, participants will:
• Zip around Bangkok in a tuk tuk
• Visit The Flower Market, the grounds of Wat Prayoon, and Chinatown
• Explore the historic areas of Bangkok and view famous temples and landmarks beautifully lit at night
• Enjoy snacks, dinner, and dessert!
This tour is offered in two options:
• Small group join-in tour with a maximum of 12 guests (available daily)
• Private Tour for individual groups (ideal for families with young children).
- We meet at a BTS (Skytrain) Station as traffic in the evening can be bad. Strongly encourage guests to take the Skytrain / Public Transport to our meeting point
- Please Note: Temples buildings are usually closed at night but the atmosphere in the grounds are special.
- Some walking is involved through markets and around temples
- This tour is suitable for vegetarians. Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
- This is an alcohol free tour and please be aware that it is illegal to drink in the tuk tuk. We reserve the right to stop the tour if there is drunken behaviour. We do provide soft drinks throughout the tour.
- Minimum age of 10 years old for small group tour option. Children are allowed on private tours but must buy a ticket if over 5.: This is an evening cultural tour and will finish about 11pm so it is not advisable for young children.
- If it rains it is more fun: We run the tour throughout the year and have never had to cancel a tour due to rain. If it rain we have ponchos, rain covers and umbrellas. You may get a little wet but if you bring a positive attitude you may discover it is even more memorable:
- Changes to itinerary: The restaurants and food stores we eat at may vary from day to day depending on what’s open.
- There are 2 people per tuk tuk. If you book as 3 or 5 people you may have 3 people in 1 tuk tuk. If you book as an individual you may share with another guest.
- For join-in tour option: This is a small group tour limited to 10 people per group.
- Due to COVID this tour has not been run regularly and will be constantly reviewed to ensure the best experience. Wat Pho is currently closed at night and has been changed to Wat Arun. It is possible they will switch back.
- Not recommended for travelers with walking difficulties
