Amazing experience - One of highlights of my time in Khao Lak. This sanctuary doesn’t offer elephant riding or bathing but instead you get to feed these amazing animals, go for a walk with them in the jungle and watch them enjoying the river. Thanks to Mike for being such an informative guide. Highly recommend.

Great couple of hours - Collected from our hotel in Khao Lak, driven through some awful road flooding - amazing experience to feed and observe elephants in their natural surroundings doing what they want to do , no collars or any form of handling - able to roam free at their own will , staff all amazing, Thank you

Our guide took some pictures aswell so we could be together on the photo. The elephants are impressive and sweet, they bring a smile to our faces. They can  be quit funny to. Would recommend!

So many options, this one was amazing - We loved our experience at the elephant sanctuary. Ethical practices mattered to us, and after seeing other roadside and riding experiences with elephants, we were happy to have booked here. First, booking tours that are exactly what you want makes a world of difference. A few times I picked bundled experiences and it made all of it a subpar schlep with strangers. That was not this experience. We were in our own group, with our own elephants, feeding, walking, watching, and touching. We did not miss riding or those photos. The tour was a very full experience. We learned about their practices with elephants, fed each one from baskets, went on a nature walk with one learning about her behavior, made them "vitamins" which was very fun, and then watched one bathe from a safe, clean distance. Knowing someone recently died from a bathing experience with an elephant on a tour in Thailand, I was glad to be at a sanctuary that had always used ethical, safe practices. Pha was a great guide, with patience and kindness that helped my children be safe and connected. It was a peaceful, zen, bonding experience that was not like any other on our trip, and we did almost 20 outings on this trip alone. I do wish the sanctuary had a little shop with some souvenirs for sale, even if it was the same as sold elsewhere, because we love to buy a commemorative token from experiences and support them further.

Highly recommend Ethical Elephant Sanctuary - A really lovely Elephant sanctuary. The elephants are really looked after. We learned how to feed them and got to give them some food. We got to watch them in the water, and watch them walk through the jungle. The people at the sanctuary are really lovely and caring. And the elephants are magnificent. Very ethical. Highly recommend.

Amazing - Well what can I say apart from Amazing trip...🐘's so Majestic & cared for by the staff who care for them. Nothing is orchestrated especially during the walk in the jungle, you follow the elephant not the other way round. If you are lucky enough to visit this elephant Sanctuary please leave a donation that's enough to feed them all as we did as its not funded by the government & staff are volunteering alongside there regular jobs to care for them. Tony our guide was amazing & so informative about everything & knew the history of every elephant in there care. The feeding was great there so gentle which I never expected. Amazing experience please go visit & donate...🙏

Enjoyable experience at the Koh Lak Elephant Sanctuary - Visiting the Kohlak Elephant Sanctuary was an enjoyable experience with the family. I had no ethical concerns and the rescue animals were treated with respect and dignity. Tony our guide helped us feed the animals, took them out to exercise and help wash them on their return. The cost of the tickets help with the elephants upkeep as they cannot be returned to the wild. Top Tip: Take strong insect repellent and refillable water bottle for when you enter the jungle area.

A beautiful insight into everyday elephant life - Even if it rained, the tour was very nice. We were greeted warmly, the tour guides answered all questions. We were allowed to prepare and feed the meal for the elephants. Afterwards we went a bit through the forest and at the end to the river for bathing.

Elephant Sanctuary - Was great to be able to see and feed the Elephants. No elephant was tied up and was allowed to leave the pens when they wanted. One of the elephants was brought out so we could feed her and then walked around for a bit and then made them some lunch and then helped one bathe. We did not get in the water with the elephant just help wash by throwing water where the mud was. Very beautiful animals and seemed like an actual sanctuary for them. The driver even took us past a temples on the way back!
