The first visit is to the Pattana Market, giving you a real insider glimpse into Thai food culture and local markets. Experience and taste where the locals go for their dinner in Bangkok. Sample a diverse range of delicious foods including Thai BBQ skewers, red roast pork, egg noodle wonton with fried garlic, fried vermicelli, wok-tossed chicken noodles, and mango sticky rice.
- The Grand Palace - Pass by the illuminated landmarks of Bangkok, including the Grand Palace, Giant Swing, and Metal Castle.
- Suan Mali Chicken Noodle at Rong Phayaban Klang Junction - Next, you will visit a hidden gem located in a small alley within a maze of streets. You can sample the wok-tossed chicken noodles, which are cooked over high flame and extremely hot oil, giving it a smoky flavor and aroma. This dish comes highly recommended by Michelin!

Great food and an opportunity to discover dishes you won’t find elsewhere - My wife and I joined the Bangkok Street Food Tour with Hotel Pick-Up and dinner. Our tour guide was Toom, who was absolutely brilliant and so enthusiastic about the food. We started off in a local market where we wandered around the stalls and chose things to try. A lot of it was based on his recommendations, but anytime we looked at something he would always ask if we wanted to try that as well. I get the impression that there was no real limit on what we could have had, and he was happy for us to try loads of different things. After buying all the food, we shared it at the table and in total spent about 90 minutes there.
We then went on a tuk tuk to see some of the temples which were lit up at night, before being taken to a back-street restaurant for Michelin recommended chicken and noodle omelette, which was delicious. We followed that with Mango Sticky Roce for dessert which was also really tasty. Our last stop was to Chinatown, which was really bustling with activity. We tried a few different notes from a few different stalls, and they were all good too.
All in all, the tour lasted about four hours, following which we were dropped back off at the hotel by tuk tuk.
We enjoyed the tour very much, but what made it so good )apart from the great food) was Toom. He was very knowledgeable, very friendly and kind, but most of all his enthusiasm was infectious, so he was great company for the evening. I’d thoroughly recommend the tour. Be prepared to eat LOTS of food and try lots of different dishes.
NB, if you’re not willing to try different things or are a vegan/vegetarian, it’s really not suitable for you. There were three others on the tour with us who picked at a couple of things and turned their noses up at everything else and were too squeamish to try a lot of the food. Strange choice of tour if you are that kind of person…

Eat yourself into a food coma 😋 - Thom our guide made this tour extra special, I would say he's the best guide we had in all our tours. We were supposed to be 4 but the other two had to leave early so my friend and I had the best time with Thom, we literally ate ourselves into a food coma. The quality of the street food in Thailand is unmatched we even went to Michellin rated food stalls. Oh my you have to taste every dish they present and experience the explosion of different flavours in your mouth and your tongue will be doing summersault all night. This is a must do activity to experience the culture through food

A true locals experience! - NOT a “staged” tourist kind of adventure! Very real and very authentic experience. You have to have an adventurous outlook and enthusiasm! “Bo” our guide was beyond brilliant and charming. She was perfect.

Delicious and fun - We had the best time! Our guide, Tae, took us around and explained to us about every restaurant and the food we were eating, the food was delicious and even though we were full we couldn't stop eating. Thank you so much for this experience, it was amazing.

Great way to see Bangkok! - We had struggled with deciding what to do in Bangkok with so many attractions. This tour was suggested by a friend that heard good things. We were blown away by the tour!
Tae did a phenomenal job showing us all of the spots, explaining what the food is, how it's cooked and giving background to the culture. He had been very kind and helpful through the whole expirence!
Coming away from this tour we feel like we have done, seen and tasted a great deal of Bangkok. When they say "show up hungry", they mean it. There was so much food!
