• Ruhengeri - Following an early breakfast, proceed to the National Park headquarters in Kinigi to meet the guides for the day. After completing park formalities, embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure of tracking mountain gorillas. Upon locating them, enjoy an hour observing these magnificent creatures, offering one of the most awe-inspiring wildlife experiences on earth. Experience the thrill of being in close proximity to these incredible giant primates, sharing a silent moment of mutual curiosity.
• Volcanoes National Park - After an early breakfast, travel to the National Park headquarters in Kinigi to meet the guides for a Golden Monkey trekking experience. With only a few remaining in the world, the Golden Monkey inhabits the foothills of the Volcanic Mountain Chain (Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, Virunga National Park in DRC, and Mgahinga National Park in Uganda). Distinguished by its bright golden body, cheeks, and tail, contrasted by black limbs, crown, and tail end, these playful primates are a delight to observe.
• Kigali - After breakfast, embark on a two-hour drive to Kigali. Enjoy last-minute shopping in one of Africa’s friendliest capitals before heading to the airport for an onward international flight home.

After finishing our park prerequisites, we begin a once in a lifetime journey of tracking mountain gorillas. Once you locate them, you’ll be permitted to spend one hour observing these close relatives from our evolutionary past. This ranks as one of the most awe-inspiring wildlife experiences on the planet! You’ll be shockingly close to these magnificent enormous primates, locked in an intense mutual gaze, waiting for someone to break the prolonged silence. You’ll find yourself within meters of the gorilla family, honored to spend an hour in their company. The trek could be quite demanding, potentially extending to six hours or longer, conducted at a fairly high elevation. We recommend ensuring optimal health and fitness for your own pleasure. Make sure to bring ample water as the rain forest can become warm and humid during the day. Your one hour with the gorillas is short, but it’s an hour that will remain etched in your memory forever.
