• Akagera National Park - At 5:00 am – The operator will pick up guests and drive to Akagera National Park. An English-speaking guide will collect guests from their hotel and embark on a scenic journey to Akagera, passing through beautiful landscapes, vibrant farmlands, lively local markets, and charming communities.

At 7:30 AM – Guests will proceed to the park headquarters for registration. Then, they will set out on a game drive across the savanna grasslands, where they will encounter the African Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos.

At 2:00 PM – A boat cruise on Lake Ihema. Guests will embark on a peaceful boat cruise on Lake Ihema, known for its rich biodiversity. They will observe hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, including the rare shoebill stork and African fish eagles.

Later, guests will continue exploring Akagera’s diverse landscapes, characterized by a mix of acacia woodlands, open grasslands, and wetland areas.

At 5:00 PM – Exit the Park. After a day filled with remarkable wildlife experiences, guests will drive back to Kigali.
