Lovely afternoon trip - The boat trip along the river was both informative and amusing courtesy of our host Cliff who was very knowledgeable on both the history of Kilkenny and the river Nore. Would recommend as a lovely way to spend an hour.

A great introduction to Kilkenny - We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip on the River Nore as an introduction to Kilkenny. Cliff was an excellent guide mixing a lot of history and several hilarious stories into his narrative. The views of the castle, the cathedral and the bridges were lovely. Job well done.

Relaxing boat ride - Our guide gave a detailed description of the historic sights, animals, and birds on the River Nore. She was more than willing to answer questions, or let us know she didn’t know all the answers, and take pictures of the groups with the nice backgrounds.

Brilliant boat trip - We took our boat trip @1pm on a sunny Tuesday. A Kilkenny boat trip is a very pleasant way to spend 40 minutes. Cliff was our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Kilkenny and the flora and fauna of the river. As others have said he makes a real effort to take your photo with the castle as a backdrop. I would recommend it.
