Do the Medieval Mile with Pat! - This was such an enjoyable 2 hours with Pat. Highly recommend! My husband and I did the Medieval Mile tour this morning. There were just two other couples, so 6 of us total. It was entertaining and educational. Pat is very knowledgeable and quite an actor.

Nice experience in Kilkenny - It was a very lovely guided tour and much more entertaining then others I did before. He tells good stories and doesn't get lost in details like dates. He helps to understand the life of the time much better than just by repeating books. I really recommend this guy. It was a pleasure to walk with him.

Don't miss this! - I had a wonderful tour with Pat. Wow, does he know his Kilkenny history! I am sure I learned things you would not usually hear about. Each of the photos I posted has an amazing story. Take the tour with Pat FIRST, then you will see Kilkenny as an informed quasi historian. It made a huge difference with my short 2 day visit. I Strongly recommend him.

Fascinating and knowledgeable tour - This is a fantastic journey through the city explaining about the history of Kilkenny. This is actual history through stories and not regurgitated dates. Pat is very knowledgeable and answers any questions you may have. His tour shows you the hidden history from coat of arms on building to what the slips were used for. We had a great time and we highly recommend this for any visitor to Kilkenny.

Wasn’t for our children - We chose this tour because of the photos, which included happy children and his wonderful, authentic period clothes - along with the designated 0-100 age range. Our 9 and 5 year old grandchildren were not engaged at all. I was disappointed he did not attempt to include them with questions or clever insights. He seemed to play to his adult audience only on the day we went with both eye contact and verbiage. Both my husband and myself loved the historical information and city architectural background he pulled together. Perhaps we will try again on another day without the kids.
