The Best way to Learn about Kilkenney - This tour was absolutely fascinating and incredibly accurate when we did our own research as well. Pat is a true actor and which makes for an engaging history lesson and his knowledge of past and present Kilkenney is extraordinary. We have recalled so many of his stories while we continued our trip!

Learned a lot! - We learned a ton of Kilkenny Medieval history from our theatrical tour guide. He was fun and entertaining. We didn’t go in the church or the castle but everything in between and then had a great lunch at one of the recommended pubs.

History is entertaining with Pat! - Dressed in traditional medieval garb, Pat is really enthusiastic about Kilkenny’s history. We were entertained and at the same time learned so much! We were having such engaging conversations, he actually went over the one hour the tour was listed for. Great fun Pat! Thanks

Such a great colorful tour and stories. - Absolutely a fun time. Enjoyed all the very colorful stories and tales from a real character. Pat truly has found his calling and delights all visitors. Would recommend this tour to most people. It is a walking tour but much time is spent standing.

Very good! - It was fantastic, Pat knew so much and conveyed it in such a wonderful human based way, really conveyed the emotions of the stories. I was very caught up in his storytelling the whole time. I had so much fun!!

Fantastic storyteller and guide - A+ - Pat Moylan is a fantastic historian but his most impressive skill is his storytelling. He was able to weave the factual narrative with stories that brought the era to life for us. You might think be thinking that you don't want to be seen walking the city streets following a "knight" but I can't think of a better way to experience Kilkenny! Just go!!

Best part of our Ireland trip! - We decided to do a 9-day trip to Ireland, from Shannon to Dublin, and despite all the beautiful scenery and amazing food encountered in every town and city, our 2 hours with Pat in Kilkenny were unanimously the BEST part of our trip. His witty humor, ability to tell stories from the past as if he were there, and clear love for his city cannot be found in any other tour. After this tour, we spent the rest of our time in Kilkenny with a newfound admiration and keen eye for the remnants of the medieval period that are sprinkled around the streets and pubs. Believe me, if you don't take a tour with Pat when traveling to Kilkenny, then you haven't experienced all of Kilkenny.

This tour is a must!! - This experience is a must! If you want to not only learn about the history of Kilkenny but also be immersed in its culture, then this is a must! Pat was an excellent and entertaining guide who made our family feel welcomed and motivated to learn about all Kilkenny has to offer. Our family is grateful for this one in a million experience! This tour is a must!!
