Fun and scenic experience, suitable for all ages - Reached our pickup point early and the guide was so kind to get us started early. Off we went as he expertly navigated the roads with cars while we sat in the cart pulled by the horse! Headed into the Killarney National Park and it was so nice to be sitting in the cart and enjoying the scenery while our guide pointed out all the interesting flowers, deers, and point of interest we pass by. We saw a stag, some deers and he slowed down each time for us to just enjoy the moment. We had some time at Ross Castle to take a short walk and the pace felt unhurried even though we cross the one hour time frame - very thankful for the patience and the easy going and kind nature of our guide. Great tour we all enjoyed!

Must Do - We had the most amazing guide in Michael. He made the trip around the park amazing. Very witty, yet knowledgeable , both my partner and Glenn thought it to be a highlight.

Great tour with Paul and Ruby! - Really enjoyed the jaunting tour and afternoon tea. Paul (driver) was excellent and provided background to the area with the whittiness only a seasoned driver could provide. Ross castle and surrounding lake is lovely. The visit at Ross castle is just enough time for a picture, visit to the loo and a drink. The afternoon tea was excellent. It’s a beautiful hotel and it’s a formal tea with casual dress code. They have to go boxes for a reason, it’s a lot of food. This is a gorgeous area and nice town (geared towards tourism). After the tea it’s a nice walk to the next spot. It was a worthwhile excursion.

Sit next to driver if you can ! Get Patrick O’Sullivan! Lots of fun. - Took this as part of a Globus tour. Was skeptical but wow it was fun. Was fortunate to sit next to the driver upfront. Heard all his corny jokes and saw everything ! Only downside the horse Blackie took a couple of smelly dumps along the way. Our driver - Patrick O’Sullivan - was quite a character and a lot of fun ! I think he knew every plant in the national forest and knew when every wall was built or rebuilt on the trail. Really enjoyed this and were blesses with PERFECT weather.

Jaunting Car ride well worth taking - Kristen and I had a great hour long ride with Mike, being pulled by Rosie! lovely ride through part of the Killarney National Park - with Mike sharing just enough details to make it very interesting while not over doing it! Beautiful scenery and wildlife - and a nice walk around the castle.

Maybe skip this "attraction" - We were part of a group of seven passengers. The driver wasn't dressed to impress (grubby looking) and a decorative ball on the horse's headgear was noticeably missing (photo) implying lack of pride. As the cart progressed the driver spewed his monologue, always facing forward, never once turning his head back to speak to the full cart of passengers. So, we really couldn't hear much. Not that much to see and really not worth the 20 Euro fee to ride.
